Atty Matt Karr is excellent. He spent the time to understand our need for a credit bypass trust. He explained the process in clear declarative English rather than legalese. I feel that his fee was very reasonable. He supported his documents with a video explaining everything so that I could replay it if I had questions. We spoke to other lawyers that charged more and some that charged less. It is very hard to compare prices like buying a car. I recommend that you meet with Matt before selecting an attorney. BTW trusts are his specialty not just another work product.

We worked with Matthew Karr for Estate Planning purposes, specifically to update our existing Trusts, Wills, Healthcare Proxies, and Powers of Attorney that were prepared years ago by another law firm. Matthew excelled in asking thoughtful questions about our goals, carefully listened to our responses, and offered practical solutions to achieve them. Most importantly, he explained his reasoning and options in a way that was clear and easy to understand. He provided a clear timeline for completion and quoted a flat fee that covered all the work. Both his turnaround time and fees were very reasonable. When it was time to sign the new documents, he patiently reviewed each one, addressed all of our questions, and ensured that we fully understood everything. His patience and thoroughness were greatly appreciated. Matthew and his staff were professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming throughout the process. In October 2024 Matthew Karr at Heritage Law prepared the Trust, Power of Attorney, Medical Proxies, Living Will and all other associated documents for our Family Trust. Matthew's service was incredibly professional, detailed and exceeded our expectations. Matthew is extremely knowledgeable and has great communication skills helping us better understand the lawyer-speak which is unavoidable when discussing these complex subjects. The final package that was delivered was concise and organized. All the items that could be done by his staff were taken care of; all we had to do was notify our institutions to fund the Trust with the documentation provided by Heritage Law. I don't give out praise like this lightly - we sat down with 4 other lawyers requesting Trust information and guidance before setting on Heritage Law and by far Matthew's office was the best. The price was reasonable and comparable to others. We had a good feeling about working with Heritage Law to finally get this task done that we had procrastinated on for so long, and I'm happy to say we made the right decision.

Then he met with me to sign the documents, which he explained in detail and answered all my questions. He charged a set fee which I knew about upfront. There were no additional fees. I had the pleasure of working with Matthew Karr and his staff over at the Heritage Law Center. They made what felt initially as a cumbersome task of forming my trust, protecting my assets, forming a medical proxy and will, into a very manageable and explainable process. We were able to discuss all of my questions one by one, and I was provided with succinct explanations on how to fund my trust! Even after the process was completed, I returned with follow up questions (over a year later!), and he was happy to respond to my requests directly. The service is fantastic and the price range is reasonable when comparing to other estate planners. I would highly recommend his team to support you through your own estate planning. Don't delay no matter how small or big your estate is, this is a must have for anyone intending to pass down any of their assets!!

Our first experience with Heritage Law Firm was when they helped my mother create her living trust. Unfortunately, she passed before it could be completely funded, but Matt and his team were there for me and my family showing kindness and compassion. Matthew Karr of The Heritage Law Center managed an estate process for me and also guided me through the responsibilities of being the executor of the will. He made a difficult time much easier, describing the steps involved with just enough detail and everything went smoothly. When questions did come up he was always easy to contact and that made things much easier too.
