James Daly poorly represented my son, he given false information, he would get angry and hang up the phone, he wasn't helpful or clear. Daly is rude and doesn't seem to understand the law fully or at minimum misrepresenting things to clients. I was in the hallway of the courthouse when 2 other people said they previously employed him and they were also not satisfied & represented improperly. I would advise against spending any money to retain or even accepting him as a PD not worth it.

From the beginning to the end Michelle at James Daly law office was professional and beyond helpful. We also had to speak with James Daly a few times, who put us in contact with her and our communication was pleasant.

Wants half up front, DOES NOTHING. Didn't even meet with us before our hearing. Said nothing at the hearing. Sat there like a lump.

First, he was always available when I needed to discuss my case. Jim could not have handled my case better. Took the time to talk to all players involved. Made sure they understood my exact situation. Pushed hard for a particular outcome and it ended up better than planned. More than reasonable sentencing. Worked with me on his fees. He has me as a client for life.

Suggested I plead guilty. Pretty sure it was because he didn't want to deal with the hassle. Pleaded not guilty and won basically on my own.

This lawyer is unprofressional and absent minded for example as i was leaving my dicovery hearing he hands me someone elses court docket and never kept informed about my case until the last min. and i felt like i didn't know what to expect left me no option but to take a plea deal on something he said that he was 99% sure he could squash also he is entirely over priced for the amount of work he did and didn't do i think that he could have done a better job with my case!

Stated that per the evidence (for a Criminal Matter) he could get strictly probation, but received a jail term on top of probation. In addition allowed for me to be subjected to correction for a previous charge that had been dismissed by the procecution 2 years prior to the current charge and probation cited a special course to be taken to address that matter. Something I had not been convicted of and both the Procecution and the SAME Judge had signed off on 2 years prior. Did not investigate the allegations I was convicted of before telling me to plead guilty as if I had no other options. Would not cover plan of action in detail but only gave me 10 minutes after having set an appointment prior. Very poor communicator. Spoke to me once after having gone to jail over 5 months after having gotten out. I had to call to find out if they had found anything or had any progress. And when I did call they had forgotten about checking up on an important matter three days before it was to be heard (child custody/divorce case). Sat on pertinent information and disregarded it even though it was highly important to safety of my children. The perfect example of a "Good-Ole Boy Attorney". Get an outside attorney if you are having a case heard in Adrian/Lenawee County!
