Mr Margolis is an assertive (call him aggressive, should you) and reasonable attorney who achieves for you what other attorneys may not be able to. It is never great to get into Criminal situation, but go to Mr Margolis if you want it done in your favor.

Doug was very attentive to my concerns and put together a case that was so convincing that the prosecution dismissed the case as soon as the judge agreed with Doug's understanding of the applicable laws and the approach we were taking in my defense.

Larry is the best!!! i went to him with a serious issue that i thought it was way too hard to win; nonetheless, he rocked in court! All i needed to do was tell him my side of the story detail by detail, and he did his magic. I wanted an attorney with "fire in his/her belly" who would be able to retrieve from a local authority equipment that had been unnecessarily confiscated and held for close to a year. Neither the judge's order authorizing release of the equipment nor my repeated requests resulted in release of my equipment. Mr. Margolis was recommended to me by another attorney. I contacted him, met with him that same afternoon, and by Friday morning, the proper papers had been prepared, and disseminated to all pertinent parties. While the holders of my property held on until the last minute, I was able to pick up my property within the deadline declared by Mr. Margolis. I cannot adequately express my gratitute for the speedy and effective way Mr. Margolis handled my case. I will not hesitate to contact him again should I ever need legal representation.

Not only that, but he is a stand up guy with a real human side, who treats his clients like their problem is the most important problem he has. Doug is a good lawyer but it was very hard to get hold of him. He was not very responsive. I felt at times he did not know the process very well. Also, he did not fight hard for me. He seemed busy with other cases. I feel I could have gotten a better deal had he looked at my case more carefully.

Well, it's been several days and I haven't had my phone call returned. Moving on to another firm.
