I hired North America Immigration Law Group for both my I-140 and I-485 cases. From the beginning, their service was incredibly disappointing. They advertise that they respond to questions within 24 hours, but in reality, they were slow and unresponsive. Any time I needed clarification or had concerns; I was left waiting far longer than promised. They were one of the delays causes in my case, and after I filed the I-485, they essentially stopped working on my case altogether. Their only advice was to "be patient," which turned into almost 2 wasted years of waiting with no meaningful updates. Even when I received my interview appointment, I had to contact them for guidance, and they simply referred me to outdated documents. Everyone who hires them quickly realizes they rely on a generic package of materials that were written years ago, and they send the same information to all their clients without bothering to update it. When I finally received my green card, I informed them, expecting at least some acknowledgment. Instead, I received no congratulations or even basic empathy. It felt as though they viewed me as just another number, more interested in taking my money than offering any real support or care for my case. If you're considering hiring an immigration lawyer, do yourself a favor and find one who actually cares about their clients. North America Immigration Law Group just wants your money without putting in the effort to help you. Look elsewhere for someone with compassion and a commitment to working for you, not just collecting fees. UPDATE Regarding updated materials, I want to point out that they provided me Read First package for I-485 in December 2022. However, when my interview came up in September 2024, they referred me to the same outdated materials. I am adding this since they claim to have customize and updated materials.
