I requested twice to have a consultation with Laura. I spoke with the receptionist twice. No return call. If you don’t want to help someone that’s fine. At least have the courtesy y to say so. I will give 1 star for the reception staff who at least showed interest.

Laura Eisenberg is so kind and really knowledgeable. Does a wonderful job at mediating a divorce.

Amy Spilman is an exceptional attorney, the very best that I have found for family law in the Metro Detroit area. She has a commanding knowledge of the law, is punctual, stays on top of developments in her cases, and above all is an honest and caring person. She is a moral person who is of the highest character and quality. I say this with full confidence as she has been my attorney for more than six years and I have carefully observed her in litigation throughout this period. She has successfully litigated a number of extremely complex and difficult family law issues on my behalf. I have spent much of my career working with talented and renowned attorneys in a different area of law and I can easily tell the difference between a mediocre and an exceptional attorney. Mekal was an amazing lawyer. Her communication , compassion , attention to every detail and hard work left me with a very positive outcome in a very terrible divorce situation. She fought for me and was truly impressive .I will be forever grateful to her and all her hard work . You will not be disappointed .

I have been working with Mekel Miller on obtaining Grandparent Rights and Mekel has been responsive and informative in the process. The first court meeting was favorable to me but I anticipate that moving forward it will be challenging. I do not need a lot of hand holding but I am happy with the responsiveness I receive and like that each phone call, meeting and e-mail is for a specific purpose and/or response requested. I am hoping for a positive outcome for my grandchildren and me.

For the money the outcome is terrible. People are looked at as walking dollar signs only. they lack compassion and there is no follow through. they charge outrageous fees. They charged a fee of 125.00 to use a credit card to retain their services - an outrageous amount. When asked for an When asked for a refund in order to pay cash for their services instead of paying an outrageous fee, they told me that they couldn’t do that Because it would mess up their booking and they would credit the account $125 in the end the credit was never given there was an excuse instead given. they went over the amount that was asked not to go over. They tell you what you want to hear, only to get you to retain their services. Their services are not recommend it at all. This is only to put money in their pocket. This isn’t for the benefit of the people who are looking for help. It’s a shame because people that need help should be able to get quality help. It appears that only people that are going to drop big bucks will get good service. Not recommend it at all. Keep shopping around for a different attorney that has a heart.

Going through a divorce is one of the most stressful things I've ever endured. I know that you are stressed too, dear Google Divorce Attorney review reader. Take a deep breath, it won't last forever. Getting divorced sucks. Being divorced is amazing. I am so very grateful that Laura Eisenberg & Diana Unwin got me here. With unparalleled expertise, knowledge and advanced strategic skills, they were rock solid the whole way through... and then completely knocked it out of the park in the ninth inning during mediation. Hire them first (I hired them second after firing my first attorney, wish I'd known about them earlier). Fluent in the Oakland County Family Court system, Laura can handle extremely challenging child custody issues and complicated financial marital asset malarkey with ease. Her team of savvy and emotionally intelligent professionals works very well together; they are sharp, responsive, smart and innovative. The bench is deep @ Eisenberg & Spilman, and Laura is second to none. There is light at the end of the tunnel (though it may feel like an oncoming train at times). It's going to work out in the end; if it hasn't worked out yet, that just means it's not the end. Call Laura. She will help you figure it out, steer you right and fight like lightning for you.

Laura was responsive to calls, emails, texts, etc. She fought to protect me.
