If you want the highest probability of winning your case, Mindy is the lawyer to hire!!!! Today marks the day where I am able to exercise my God given rights as a father to parent my own sons with sole legal and physical custody! This would have not been possible without Mindy using her vast knowledge and wisdom of family law. If you asked anyone, this was a very difficult case that I've been fighting for over 5 years!!!! Mindy came on the case at year 4, and within 3 months of being on the case, she was able to help me find the solution that I needed to win the case! If it had not been for circumstances outside of our control, the case would have been closed within those 3 months of her coming on. I was faced with moving across the country (Michigan to California) due to a job relocation. Since Ms. Hitchcock had already done an amazing job during my custody case; I immediately contacted her about a change of domicile so that my son could come with us to CA. Mindy was fantastic throughout and made huge efforts to solve as much as possible outside of the courtroom (through mediation) in an effort to save both time and money. She also fought very hard IN the courtroom to ensure that my family had the best possible outcome. Mindy made something that was extremely difficult much easier. I did shop around for a good lawyer for my divorce. I prepared a list of questions and interviewed a lot of lawyers for their knowledge of divorce law. Mindy was my choice. The result? I had a good settlement! Mindy goes above and beyond for her clients. She truly cares about her clients and fights very hard for them. Mindy works very hard on the case. Sometimes she works until midnight/early morning to make sure the case is well prepared( I received a quite few emails with time stamp 2AM). Mindy has been my attorney throughout a very nasty custody battle and she has been great throughout. When my case began, I felt defeated. It seemed as if the deck was stacked against me being a single dad. My child's mother wasn't allowing me to see my child at all. Mindy helped me tremendously through this uphill battle and I now spend nearly equal time with my child. It wasn't easy and I know it wasn't fun, but Mindy was vigilant in making sure that I got what any parent SHOULD have. She dealt with opposing counsel that was underhanded and scheming and still came out on top.
