I can't say enough good things about Karen. She's honest, hard working and shoots straight. She fought hard for me but what really struck me was her honesty. You need Karen in your corner! When I walked into Karen Carver’s office to discuss filing for a divorce, I was scared, overwhelmed and anxious. By the end of the divorce process, I felt empowered, confident and relieved. Karen was meticulous in taking lengthy, detailed notes during my free initial consultation, and took the time to get to know me and learn about my children and situation. (The opposing attorney didn’t even know my kids’ names during our mediation!) Karen is incredibly detail oriented and professional, and has an in-depth understanding of and experience with the local court system. She knows how to get results and doesn’t stop fighting until she does. My situation involved a complex division of assets, and Karen was diligent in making sure this was done fairly and accurately. Putting together a will and trust is not something anyone wants or looks forward to doing but Andy Gerkin made it painless. Our circumstances were more involved with each of us having children from first marriages but Andy really did put us both at ease! He explained in terms we could understand and relate with. I have known Ryan Decker and Andrew Gerkin for many years. I am a former football coach that coached many years at Howell High School. I coached both Ryan and Andrew in football at Howell High school. Not only were they great kids, they were also very competitive on the playing field. I now have a non-profit foundation that was set up by Gerkin & Decker Law Firm. I can not tell you how impressed I have been with all of their work.
