I started working with Denise with her streamline divorce because I thought all was amicable and agreed upon... boy was I wrong... after multiple revisions to my streamline paperwork my, soon to be ex (thanks to Denise) decided that it would be a good idea to hire her own attorney and try to get me for more than what was owed and agreed upon. Denise steered me through a clear path even though I was extremely distraught and didn't know what to do as I, like many, haven't been through a divorce before (or really any legal activity for that matter). She kept me at ease and reassured me without trying to overpromise even though I know it would have been easy up front to do so. She was extremely patient and made this terrible process (that lasted almost a year) go through almost seamless (as smooth as she could make it). I'm nearing the end now and I have a "deal" with the other party and am just awaiting the final documents. We never had to go to mediation (so I'm working on a refund for that at the moment per Denise's instructions) and avoided trial (thank God!). Denise was very conscious of my funds and didn't try to drag anything out like some attorneys do (I believe the one on the other side of the table was trying to attempt something like that, but I'm not an expert, obviously). All in all, if you need an attorney to get your life back on track when someone in your household isn't being a part of the team anymore, I highly recommend Denise and her firm; they're all great and sincerely kind. They even gave me a yellow highlighter one day on my way to study... It's the small things that matter, and they take details, small and large, into consideration even when you don't think they're of importance. Thank you Denise, you're the best.

Denise did a tremendous job in representing me throughout my divorce. She did everything she could to get me the fairest result in my situation. She answered all my questions, sometimes multiple times and always gave me the best advice. She is courteous, understanding and professional. I would highly recommend her and her office for your legal needs. Five Star all the way.

Women were allowed to bring their kids in to family court, and yell at the top of their lungs about child support I don’t think that’s best for the kids and they shouldn’t be allowed to do that.

I highly recommend John Harrington to anyone who needs a top notch tax specialist / has complicated taxes. I just love an accountant who answers the phone and takes time to explain any questions you may have! This team will help with regular filing, or an occasional tax problem! My hubby didn’t get the correct amount taken out of his employment tax and they remedied our situation quickly and with their knowledge of tax law put our minds at rest! I highly recommend them to anyone in Livingston county or surrounding counties! They are the best of the best!
