Honest, Friendly, and Professional. Those three words perfectly describe John. He handled my case with professionalism and efficiency. Took care of my whole case with almost no input needed from me besides the ticket and circumstances. Overall a great guy and someone I'll definitely call first should I ever be unfortunate enough to need a lawyer again.

Awhile back I got a ticket going 25+ mph over, which was going to cost me 4 points plus a fat fine. John managed to get the ticket dismissed in exchange for a limited access speed 1-5 over. I got to keep all of my precious points to myself, and I only had to pay a small fine. At first, I wasn't sure picking an attorney from the web was the best idea, but after talking to John, I was convinced he was the right person for the job. Attorney Elkhoury represented me with my OWI 3rd. From the day we spoke on the phone John was extremely professional and polite. We met shortly after that conversation at his office in Center Line; there John took time to find out who I was as a person more so than just focusing on my offense. He aggressively formulated a plan of action that day combining his experience with the gathered facts to cater to my unique situation. Throughout the trial John communicated with me before and after each appearance in addition to sending me an email summarizing what happened that day. Mr. Elkhoury does not leave room for misunderstanding or error, he is extremely proficient and attentive. I can go on and on about his character in addition to his execution in the courtroom; but I think simply saying that my felony charge was reduced to a misdemeanor with no additional jail time following my arrest and all other charges dropped speaks to his value as an attorney. Tom is a very trustworthy and understanding lawyer. I've recently retained him as my attorney, because a good friend of mine recommended him to me. I am very grateful that they introduced me to Tom. My case is not simple and is scary at times when I think about it. And when I get worried and nervous all I have to do is call Tom and he reassures me that everything is going to be ok. Mr. Everett was knowledgible and very professional in dealing with my son's case. His help and advice was priceless, and fees were reasonable. Even though he was hard to reach at times for questions, he kept in touch and was there for court dates. We also saw that he was respected and well liked among his peers.

This man gives the profession a very bad name. Totally inappropriate, angry passive aggressive person and this reflects in his work! I see why he has bad record with State Disciplinary Board. Wish we had known before paying him.
