Mr. Jamil Khuja has represented me on a very serious charge. I am getting a 3rd OWI charge within a short span. This is a felony charge as a true 3rd. I was told to go to him for my first and second, but I ignored the advice because I got a free lawyer. BIG MISTAKE! The third charge is in Oakland County and they don't take things lightly there. I immediately retained Mr. Khuja and he agreed to represent me and my other probation violation. Things could be a lot worse for that matter and I am facing jail time for a minimum of 30 days-5 months maximum. The only reason why I am getting what I am getting because this man truly fights for you in the courtroom. You don't have to see it. He does a lot of work behind closed doors and after hours to give you some freedom from the judicial system. He has the reputation, years of experience, built relationships within the courtrooms where his work speaks for itself. The whole ordeal was stressful and he has made things much easier. I truly believe it's because of his knowledge and expertise. This man really took a lot into consideration and maintained in constant communication with me. I could have been wearing a tether, embarrassed to go to work with it, but he explained to the judge the redundancy of it since I blow into a machine twice a day already. I was almost facing an outrageous bond. Once again he showed the courts that even though I am a habitual offender I am not a flight risk and would be able to use the time while I'm out to continue my employment and rehabilitate myself. He got that reduced from 50k to 25k. He also even tried to have me serve my time during my time off from work but I just wanted this matter to be resolved as quickly as possibly to move on with my life. He checks in on you and is making sure you have your act together. Being charged with a felony is not an easy matter to take on. There are a lot of court dates, time off of work, and he really did everything he could to make this easier and less difficult for me and my family. I have a lot to lose and am facing a life changing ordeal that will indefinitely effect me for the rest of my life. The level of legal council that Mr. Khuja provided to me helped me to stay positive. The extra time and effort put forth on his behalf and entire legal counsel team until the end was truly appreciated.

This lawyer just got my third case in a row dismissed. He really knows his stuff.
