As an attorney I had to refer a criminal case to Ellen because of a conflict I had with the parties involved. She did an outstanding job and got a dismissal on a complicated case. She is top notch and tenacious. Highly respected by the courts, prosecutors, and other attorneys. I would highly recommend retaining her services.

This Lady was amazing, she took on my daughters case with love, kindness and genuine concern.She made herself available, returned ALL calls in a timely manner, addressed all concerns big or small. Unfortunately my daughter was facing up to 30 yrs. This lady worked magic. My daughter will be doing a year. In a facility in Detroit. What I appreciate the most she was straight forward and Honest. My daughter and I called all over the city trying to find an Att we narrowed it down to 6 asking open ended questions trying to figure out who would meet our need best. This lady was driving she pulled over to give us her undivided attention that spoke volumes about her character, She didn’t make promises she kept it 100%. Thank you for Going above and Beyond getting my daughter the least amount of time possible.

Great law firm they talk to you keep you updated and took care of my case got dismissed thanks

My court case was dismissed due to a no call no show a year prior from Micheal all the while him telling me that we are still in court and this is a normal process for court to go on this long. I checked court records and called him out on it and haven’t been able to get a call back or get him to answer the phone for months now. He is a scam artist. Don’t trust this guy!

This guys were very professional and direct. Keep it straight up and played no games on my case. I would highly recommend this guy’s firm if you find yourself in trouble with the law. Thxz again!!

I had a really good experience working with Ellen K. Michaels. She asked insightful questions, guided me on how to approach my situation, and took the time to listen to my concerns. Her explanations were clear, and she made sure I fully understood what she was saying. Ellen maintained a high level of professionalism and was always approachable and easy to work with.

This attorney did not even have the courtesy to call me but felt the need to debate with me via text. Update: She called me almost immediately after seeing this review to plead her case. I told her that I would take the review down. However, when I logged on today, I saw her public response to my review. Her public response seems to be more linear to her character. My initial contact was via phone call. She initiated a texting thread without once asking me to call her or letting me know she was available to speak. The phone call to me to "rectify" the situation was really just an attempt to play on my emotions so I would remove the review. *additional pictures added

I hired Micheal in a real estate matter and as soon as he was paid in full it was almost impossible reach him. Something that I was told would take about 6 months is now going on 4 years. He Never once updated me on his own after court or returned my calls as promised. I wish I would have read the reviews, do your own research. Pay a real professional. If you hire this man you will regret it.
