I had been doing my own taxes as an independent contractor for 5 years when I got an audit notice from the IRS. Would definitely recommend this firm. I was hesitant at first as I was picking someone sight unseen (online). My reservations were quickly assuaged. They were very quick to respond and were very clear with their instructions and explanations on how the matter would proceed. In my case forms that I had submitted to the IRS had been lost and I was therefore being charged a penalty. The Silver Group processed an appeal for me which had my penalty cleared after my own attempts had failed. I am very happy with the service I received.

I paid Silver tax group $8500 for their service 5 years ago. I have got nothing but the run around every since they got paid. First off they filed my claim wrong and expected me to pony up the money for their mistake. The IRS says we owe them $15,000 and Silver Tax assured me they could get this significantly lower. Over the last few years I kept hearing the IRS is backed up it will take time. Well my neighbor hired a tax attorney and had his issue resolved in a year. Now they wont even return my emails or calls this last year. I would give them negative stars if I could. I am tired of them giving me the runaround. Go somewhere else you can get the service cheaper and faster. Update: We hired a different Attorney and they got are taxes lowered by 60% and only took 6 months. Thanks for nothing silver tax group. UPDATE: They’re lying in their response to My review. They did not get any tax lowered, and they did not get any interest, lowered and I can prove it. Silver tax group are frauds.

When I got a notice that I owed the IRS $430,000 in capital gains, I knew it had to be wrong. I called Silver Tax Law on a holiday weekend and they immediately got the ball rolling with an amended return.
