I had a very professional excellent experience with this firm. Especially with attorney Jeff Kaufman he is a dedicated attorney that see's things thru, call's you back first chance he gets does what he say's. definitely someone you want on your workman's comp case. I came to them not sure of my situation Alex Berman took my case pro-bono said don't worry I'm going to put my best guy on the job. he is a man of his word along with Jeffrey they really went to bat for me they know the right people that's for sure, so if you're looking for someone to fight for you rights go see them ask for attorney Jeff Kaufman. I'm a average guy from Oakland county in the construction feild they treat me like I was very important. After hearing Mr. Gursten speak about the dangers of distracted driving, I am inspired to make changes immediately. I have already installed apps on my phone to protect my family when I am driving, but will encourage others to do the same. Mr. Gursten's presentation was informative, influential and jaw dropping. I am so pleased that we had him speak to our parent group to help end distracted driving. My eyes are opened about the real cost of distracted driving after hearing an informative talk by Steven. We need to model the behavior for our children--if I text and drive or fiddle with my phone or enter an address in Waze or chat on the phone--my kids will likely do the same. The Michigan Worker Comp Lawyers are an excellent choice if you are dealing with Worker's Compensation case. The Senior partner is Alex Berman who has over 35 years of experience in handling worker's compensation cases. Initially, I got upset that I felt I wasn't being kept up to date on my case. I will say they were down a member of their team with a medical issue. Once I voiced my concern to Alex that I needed to be kept in the loop of my case I was assigned a different attorney. I was appointed Jeff Kaufman, and he did an outstanding job keeping me in the loop of the case via emails or phone calls! Jeff went way above and beyond what was necessary of him to help bring my case to a close! Jeff showed real compassion to my situations the entire time dealing with my case and was able to bring to a close before losing my home and vehicle! He did work that should have been done by the opposing attorney to help speed up the closing of my case. I give their firm and Jeff a 5-star review and rating. Lastly, he offered for me to keep Intouch if I have any issues or other legal questions while now I go through my social security disability process which another firm is handling. I feel Like I formed a friendship with Jeff going through all of this. On another note not related to this firm but worker's compensation cases in general. It is a long process anywhere from 1-3 years I have heard of from others. The workers best intentions are not in mind of the opposing company. The independent medical examiners are a joke and only out to nail you and protect the company. They say whatever your comp company wants the to say in my opinion. It's a dirty corrupt system, and you only have big business and politicians to blame. Just Jeff and his firm they will protect you and be patient. Follow their advice, and I hope you come out also with a good settlement.
