I hired Michael due to false accusations that had been put against me by someone who had a previous past of lying to the court system. I was applying for an amazing job when I found out about the alleged accusations against me. Michael is thorough in asking his clients questions during conversations, and from there he strategically makes a defense for court. He treats every case as if it's going to trial, and plans accordingly. He privately spoke with the prosecuting attorney, and made it so I never had to go in front of a judge at trial. I hired a lawyer before Michael (was looking at 4-5 years in prison) just for some marijuana. My old lawyer wanted me to take the felony and they would drop the misdemeanor. Because "it was clear" and he couldn't find any "loop arounds" so I fired him and hired Michael! Was the best thing I could have possibly did for myself in this case. He drove all the way up to gaylord to take my case on (case been going on for OVER 2 years now) Michael fought hard in my case and after today's court looks like all charges will be dropped very soon! I feel very blessed to have found the perfect attorney in in Michigan let alone St. Clair County. But I feel even more blessed to have to have found Michael Kormorn. My charges were many, it all seemed so hopeless. I went to attorney after after attorney who kept telling me to “go ahead just plead guilty”, I wasn’t guilty, so I refused to plead guilty (That’s why so many attorneys in St. Clair County have such great “win” rates) THEN a friend recommended Michael. When my home was raided and tore upside down, family taken to jail, to be let our 3 days later to find all of our vehicles were seized, TV's taken, bank accounts seized, wallet taken, computers, cellphones, my covered trailer, guns, all of our files (including marriage license, birth certificates, all tax records and receipts, 5 vehicle titles) my entire garden of LEGALLY GROWN medical marijuana.
