I was thrilled with attorney norwood he was able to get my charges reduced keep me out of jail and helped me keep my drivers license, he was professional and easy to communicate and for these reasons im giving 5 stars and will be recommending him to others.

I have worked with/retained the services of a dozen lawyers (mostly in Genesee county) over the course of my life and there is only one that I recommend, and that’s Matthew Norwood. His knowledge and understanding of the law and the rights of his clients are vast. I’ve witnessed him correct judges in terms of understanding the law. I have hired Mr. Norwood twice. Most recently he helped me out of a situation to where I was reduced from looking at jail time to paying off fines. He went above and beyond to review my case and prove my innocence. Very down to earth and you can tell he’s on your side. Only attorney in flint that I would recommend!

I spoke with a few lawyers prior to finding Mr. Norwood. He made me feel a bit more at ease despite the state I was in coming to him. He was very accessible, which is something I appreciate tremendously. I have just hired Mr. Norwood so I have no statement about the outcome of my matter. I just wanted to put out my first impression, he was extremely kind as was his staff. He made me no promises, but told me what he could try to do for me. As polite as the woman attending the front desk was, he did not make me send message through her about my case, he immediately let me speak with him over the phone. Then without being my paid legal representation at this point allowed me to come into his office, tell my story and hear his thoughts. This showed me that it was not just about the money. For many lawyers you do not actually speak with them until you have paid a certain fee. Your consultations are not even usually with a lawyer, but I was able to meet directly with him, before paying he made himself available. I’m in awe. This is getting too long. Updates will come.

Great lawyer and very helpful

I was referred to Attorney Norwood by a family friend. I made the call and from the very beginning he was up front honest and willing to listen. He really knows his stuff my case was a tough one. He had an argument for every part of my case, he came locked and loaded, fully prepared for anything they threw at him. He worked countless hours on my case as he put it “I smelled blood in the water”. He won my case got it dropped completely! What an amazing win! I will recommend him to anyone in the future! I am very impressed with Matt Norwood. After 2 DUI's and 6 years with no license he was able to get me a restricted license on the first try, something many people told me would not happen. We went to lansing again yesterday, after a year of having a restricted license, and thanks to Matt I now have full driving privileges again. He is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what to say. I definitely recommend him to anyone in need of license restoration.
