I had three other attorneys before I was lead to Patrick L. Chatterton. I had spent over a decade battling my ex-wife about my pension. She was certain that she was entitled to more of it than she was, and is currently, receiving. I had explained and Fidelity had explained why she was getting precisely what she was entitled to and nothing more or anything less. Well, with my current (at that time) lawyer retiring and another summons to court over the pension issue, yet again! I had to find another lawyer to represent me in the Shiawassee Circuit Court. Enter Attorney Chatterton. His knowledge of the law, his ability to express and expound on the law as it pertains to your case and the expertise he uses to convey that in a concise manner so that the judgement is pronounced in your favor. I wish I had been able to hire Attorney Chatterton from the very beginning. I am certain that I would have saved a lot of money and time in court!

I can't say how much atty Chatterton has done for me and my children. HE IS THE ABOSLUTE BEST. I found attorney Chatterton to be extremely knowledgeable of all of the child custody and divorce laws. attorney Chatterton told me the truth about every question I asked. He did not promise me anything or fill my head with any ideas that were not realistic or things that he could not get me. If I wanted something done he got it done. I went through two lawyers before I found attorney Chatterton. In fact by the time I hired attorney Chatterton the judge did not like me very much due to my poor choice of other attorneys. Attorney Chatterton did not allowed to judge to talk down to me he in fact stood up for me to the judge and made sure all the facts were known. I had anxiety and was extremely scared to go to court but after attorney Chatterton took my case I was so happy. Attorney Chatterton relieved my anxiety I never got yelled that again by the judge once I hired him. He was not afraid to go to court or trial he never tried to cut any deals he got me everything I asked for. I cannot thank him enough. I have used him several times during my three year strung out divorce case for several different matters. Every time we went to court he fought for me. I strongly recommend this lawyer to anyone looking for the best. I have referred several of my friends to him and they have all been satisfied as well. I also found attorney Chatterton staff to be very friendly and also knowledgeable. After the first time at court with attorney Chatterton it felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders after that I had complete faith in attorney Chatterton. He really deserves more than 5 stars.

I have retained Patrick twice over a 6-year period in a matter culminating in a particularly challenging divorce case. He was able to guide and advise me through some extremely difficult and complicated matters, and seemingly never-ending delays from opposing counsel. Both he and his office staff are extremely professional and courteous. You will find his professional advice to be accurate and matter-of-fact, and his experience with, and knowledge of, the local court system is excellent. He is not the sort of attorney that will stoop to unscrupulous practices sometimes seen amongst his colleagues, and he handles those emotionally-charged instances in a calm and professional manner. In the end, we were able to construct a favorable settlement, and address grossly inaccurate paperwork errors or omissions from opposing counsel that would have been very costly or inconvenient to me. I would highly recommend his services!!

I was going through a nasty divorce and read the reviews on Patrick Chatterton with other cases and I like what I was reading. I went to him and he was exactly like everyone said. This guy put my mind at ease, I didn't have to do much of anything .....he did it all. Helped me get 50/50 on my 2 boys. Helped me get what I was entitled too. I even received spousal support, and child support! I already recommended him to a couple of my frifends for various reasons. Patrick Chatterton is absolutely amazing... Throughout the case, he kept that same calm and always provided information about the next step in the process.
