Mary Mims had been recommended to me for friends and I had met her with them. I knew watching her work with them that I needed and wanted her to represent me if I ever needed an attorney. She is an expert at what she does. She knows exactly how to navigate the courtroom. She worked tirelessly for me, responding at all hours, helping me navigate my way through a high conflict divorce and the aftermath of using the court room as a way to further attempt to make life difficult. I had evidence very organized for her and she explained the law to me. The law is very different from what we want but that is not the attorney’s fault. Mary was my rock as I navigated my divorce.

I have asked Ben numerous questions over the years and he has always been very knowledgeable and helpful!

For the protection of fellow consumers looking for legal representation; I cannot recommend enough to seek other firms than Scholten Fant. I was recommended Mary Mims by several individuals; I was looking forward to having great representation, and I could not be more disappointed in the representation, lack of responsiveness, unjustified billable hours, clerical errors and complete lack of organization by the attorney and his paralegal that I was handed off to (with no explanation). When bringing up several of the issues I had experienced with the firm and asking for improvements moving forward, I was then notified that the firm would be terminating our agreement instead of simply improving their standards and representation. Do yourself a favor; find a firm that has reliable employees and will represent you accurately and fairly in the court system because you will not find that at Scholten Fant.

Mary Mims is an absolute shark in the courtroom. Her knowledge and professionalism is amazing. I would highly recommend Mary to anybody looking for a good attorney when dealing with the most outrageous, extreme litigation from the opposing party. After almost 3 years of a very insane divorce, I am thankful that I had Mary on my team.
