Helpful to a point. They have almost everything you need paperwise to do what you need at the court.. But despite their name they CAN NOT assist you will legal advice for how or what to write on the papers..

None of these ppl are lawyers or want to be lawyers or arnt even law students doing this job. Yet everyday they give out legal advice as it were fact. They dont know what they are doing. Its the blind leading the blind. Hire a private or professional attorney. To not just take these people at their words.

Somewhat knowledgeable staff, you hey have to remember that they are not lawyers and if you are thinking about saying "that's what they told me at the legal assistance center" in the courtroom be prepared for the judge to tell you they are not lawyers. Besides having to understand legalities on your own the lac does give pretty good advice.
