I am extremely grateful to have Thacker Sleight on my team. Allison, Connie and their whole team were able to handle this nightmare professionally and were excellent attorney's and counselor's for me. I would recommend engaging them as soon as possible. Even if you believe your divorce will be amicable, it will still be worse than you expect. You need an experienced legal team ready to mitigate and defend whatever might come. They are truly excellent at their job and you will be very pleased with both their legal expertise and their attention to handling the personal issues that come with any divorce.

Connie Thacker came highly recommended and I was very impressed. She was well-prepared for my “hot mess” of a case and fought aggressively in court. So much so, that most of my friends and family asked for her business card afterward! Wish I had known of her earlier at the onset of my split and subsequent arbitration proceedings. Regardless, was glad I chose Thacker Sleight to complete this difficult process.

My divorce was difficult, and dark. It would have been unbearable without the guidance, expertise and kindness of Barbra Homier. Barbra did everything perfectly when faced with impossible situations. She is superb, and became a dear friend and the best Coach I’ve ever had. My advice to anyone going through what I/we endured, “buckle up” and know you have the equivalent of a legal Lombardi standing by your side, every step of the way. Good luck.

While working with Connie, I found her demeanor and personality pleasant, however her communication was lacking. When I asked her simple questions about the plan or the process, she would tell me to just trust her. While I am a very trusting person, I believe in a stressful time such as divorce, your attorney must take the time to explain the plan and process for your specific divorce. I also put together materials for her or was asked for specific items which would be ignored or not reviewed until the last minutes (during a phone call). I felt the process with her was haphazard and not at all what I would have expected in a divorce attorney. I terminated working with her because I didn't receive the time, attention or compassion to my case.

I worked with Connie Thacker on my custody case and she was absolutely excellent. She kept communication lines open and was always there when I needed her. I also have a friend of a friend working with her partner, Allison Sleight and would highly recommend their firm to anyone needing help on a custody or divorce case.

Enjoyed working with the Thacker Sleight Team. Extremely quick and effective, can work with your schedule and pace you prefer. There are several resources on the team, therefore can assist with multiple view points and multi task. Will use the team again if needed in the future.
