Donna was my second attorney in my years-long divorce and custody battle(s). To this day, I am so incredibly grateful to the friend who recommended Donna to me. Donna is straight-forward in the advice she gives. She'll tell you exactly how it is, and I appreciate that. She is also tireless in her advocacy for you and won't suffer fools lightly. Donna would let my ex spout whatever he had to say, and then calmly cut through the nonsense with a straightforward recitation of the facts and law. She has a calming effect on her clients and isn't afraid to use some dry humor to lighten things up when necessary. The only negative in my mind is that so many of my friends/referrals need a great attorney in Ottawa County, and Donna doesn't practice there. If you need a highly effective, straight-shooting, fierce advocate on your side in a divorce, custody, parenting time, or other family law situation, I cannot recommend Donna highly enough.

On another occasion, following an unexpected family emergency, we sought elder care advice; and Jeffrey Black and Rick Conklin promptly and thoroughly discussed our options to protect our relative’s assets. I can vouch for the team’s expert business advice, and I also know they achieve resolutions in probate, family law, and tax matters. I can truly recommend anyone on their team, which I believe says a lot about the integrity of the firm overall. Even if RM doesn’t specialize in your situation, they likely have a referral for you. So, whatever assistance you need, give RM a call; because their clients aren’t just “business” - they are individuals who matter, personally. While no one hopes to need legal counsel, I know I can trust the RM team to be there if (and when) I do, and I can’t thank them enough!

Rick Conklin was great and very informative for myself and my elderly mother. He was punctual, efficient, and accommodating. My mom was in rehab after a major surgery and he met us there after work hours. He was honest about services he thought we needed and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an attorney!

Do Not Hire this attorney. Read carefully the negative reviews. He will take your money and if the judge is his buddy will do whatever the judge tells him to do on your case even if it means "throwing" your case just like others have commented. He told me what he would do in court and then did not do it. Then he met with the judge in chambers and refused to present my case. He refused to continue representing me and then demanded more money.

Had a major issue with HOA was assigned MB (initials). who gave us terrible legal advice and led us on a wild goose chase for months and when didn’t hear from him for weeks called and he was let go. No Notification and it was weeks! Totally mismanaged our case and now we have to take them(customer) to small claims now since the time was then . Absolutely embarrassed us , by the lack of professionalism and didn’t even offer to refund our money. A real shame u can’t trust a law firm to cover your business. Because of my understanding of law I was in the absolute worst position when I contacted them, they were able to reset my situation and got me the best outcome at the time. Also the Judge presiding over my case complemented my lawyer on his absolutely perfect work during the trial.

Wanted to avoid, as much as possible, probate court. Asked my financial adviser for a recommendation. He told me to give RPM a try. Called and made an appointment for an initial consultation and was very impressed. Decided to go forward with a trust. When it came time for the signing we included my children so that they would feel like part of the team. I highly recommend RPM.

Mr. Reeder as usual was on time and very helpful at my corporate board meeting. Highly recommend this firm.
