I was referred to Reeder Plachta Murphy and attorney Kari N. Thames through a fellow business owner to handle being a victim of an IRS audit due to a company entering wrong information on our tax return for that year. After 3 years of the IRS dragging it out the agony is finally over. I can not say enough about Kari and the the team at RPM she never gave up trying to get the right info when they would finally respond and always kept me informed.

My son in-law referred me to Reeder Plachta Murphy, Bryan Reeder help us with setting up a Trust, Will and Power of Attorney. We're very pleased with their services, we were shown step by step what was needed to be done, they took care of getting our home put in the Trust. Best experience I have had.

Such a wonderful firm! I worked with Attorney Jeffrey Black and started with an online search of attorney firms in the area. My old firm was not helping with the settlement of a trust. Following a free one-hour consultation with Attorney Black, I knew I was in the right place. He untangled the mess from the other firm and shared a path forward. All of my questions were answered promptly and with legal documentation as a backup. The process became much more clear for me as a trustee to follow. I remember telling Mr. Black that I would rather pay a higher hourly rate to someone who is efficient, competent, and responsive than pay a lower rate to someone who has none or few of the characteristics listed above. I recently had my trust, will, and POA updated with Jeff Black and Lisa Peterson and am very happy with their work. They are professional, personable and explain the process in a manner that is easy to understand. They also assisted my mother last year and I am confident and comfortable that when it is necessary to use these documents we will be able to focus on our family and not worry about spending time in court.
