Elena was an incredible resource to me during my divorce. She was compassionate but focused. She offered expert advice and helped shine a light through a very dark, sad, scary and confusing time in my life. What a consummate professional.

I retained Elena in 2012 for my divorce. I have never been divorced before, this being my only marriage. I did not know what to expect, and have heard bad things about some divorce attorneys ie. that they are overly aggressive and stir the pot to make money. Elena was down to earth, and calm. I appreciate the fact that she was very family focused, and did not escalate things unnecessarily. In our first meeting, Elena told me that her job was to respond and not react, and that she would try and spare our children any involvement. To be sure, the process was hard, but at the end of the day, I am grateful to Elena for the hard work she put into my case, and that we avoided a war. I know my children are better for it.
