From the first time that I talked to Nathaniel on the phone, until the last time that we walked out of court together talking about our families, "caring" is the word that epitomizes Nathaniel Kaleefey. After the many years of now knowing Nathaniel, I trust him on every level, and believe that he will never let a stone be unturned in order to fight for my cause. Let me begin by stating that I went through a brutal divorce, where everything was taken from me because I didn't seek a lawyer in a timely manner. I tried to do what I thought was the proper steps of the law, but did not file certain paperwork properly, causing my judgement to be defaulted on. This gave all the power to my ex and her attorney, which they then gouged me for everything they could, including most importantly to me, time with my children. With my parents behind me, we searched for a lawyer, and found Nathaniel Kaleefey being a highly rated lawyer online. Over the years now Nathaniel has been a great listener, communicator and advice giver. I look at Nathaniel not only as a lawyer who fought relentlessly to get time with my children back, but as an outstanding individual that I can count on as a friend. Nathaniel not only helped me with my court case but made it simple and easy and even was helpful with understanding my payments. There were numerous times I walked into the court waiting room and as I waited I wondered if he was running late. Update, fall 2016: I ended up hiring Nathaniel to file for separate maintenance, and I am very happy that I did. Nathaniel truly worked for me and advocated for me. He made it easy to say, "Talk to my lawyer," because I knew that he would work for my best interests and those of my children. His communication was clear, as was that of his paralegal. He asked for things that I either didn't think of or was scared to ask for, showing me how these things were truly in the best interests of my family and my situation. I ended up with an even better result than I could've hoped for, and I credit that to Nathaniel's advocacy, to his practice of diffusing situations and talking reasonably and respectfully to my husband, and to his knowledge of how things should be and were likely to go. I am so glad that I hired Nathaniel, and I am truly grateful for his expertise and advocacy. [spring 2016:] I met Nathaniel to discuss my situation, and I was very impressed. He was straightforward and bold, telling me not necessarily what I wanted to hear but what I needed to hear. He offered perspectives that a couple other lawyers I've consulted did not, which really helped me to clarify for myself how I want to move forward. Unlike some other lawyers I've met, he wasn't pushy, and I felt that he was considering me as an individual, not simply generalizing my situation.
