Tessa did a phenomenal job and her knowledge in these cases is impeccable. I was accused of a Title IX violation by my university. Tessa helped explain the process to me as well as my family and kept us calm during this nerve wracking time. I worked with Mike Bartish and his staff. I cant recommend Mike enough, the level of care and advice Mike offered on my case was above and beyond what was required of a attorney. Mike was personal, empathetic, and available if I needed advice regardless of what I was dealing with. My case involved my ex trying to use the criminal courts to interfere with our upcoming custody review and keep my child away from me. Mike was not only able to remove the order of no-contact with my daughter, he was able to work out a understanding with the court and the delicate situation involving my daughter that provided the best possible outcome. Even after the case Mike offered to help after hours dealing with my ex and trying to pick up my daughter. Mike cared enough to make sure the complicated events following the case were handled correctly and fairly to ensure I would have no further issues. I cant thank Mike enough for all his help through this difficult time and greatly appropriated his level of understanding. I highly recommend Mike to anyone who needs a personable and knowledgeable attorney willing to do whatever needs to be done to care for his clients.

I was accused of sexual assault and Tessa represented me well against an unreasonably biased university. The school held a second hearing for unsubstantiated reasons and Tessa won us both hearings by a mile and then a successful civil suit for undue hardship. Tessa was knowledgeable, reliable, easy to get ahold of, and having her support made a very difficult process so much more manageable.

Tessa helped us navigate the juvenile court system. She took time to make sure we understood each step of the process; what we could expect and what was expected of us.
