Todd Almassian and his legal team helped me survive the malicious harassment incited by my family in 2016. After thirty years of being the sole financial provider of a family of six, my family plundered the house and moved out in early January while I was at work. Aided by their pro bono, so-called Christian attorney, my family sued me for over a million dollars, filed false criminal charges against me, and bombarded me with frivolous legal challenges. Todd helped me understand the difference between me as a generous giver taking care of my family and my self-absorbed family taking advantage of me. Todd Almassian worked with my family law attorney as well as my family’s attorneys to address the destructive behavior of my family. At my request, Todd participated in the family court mediation to explain the interactions between family and bankruptcy law. Todd helped me squelch my family’s bullying attempt to sabotage my bankruptcy filing. Todd led another mediation outside of family court to address the stalemate I faced due to my family’s arrogance, deception, and continuous delay tactics to thwart the legal process. After eight months of litigation, Todd guided me to successfully negotiate a settlement that both the family and bankruptcy courts would approve.
