I received a garnishment from this law office for a medical bill from 2014. A medical bill I had no copy of, nothing that was on my credit score and with information that didn't match that time. When I asked for an invoice pertaining to the amount I was being told I owed I was told I would have to send in a request in writing. After the first garnishment came out I called to pay off the remaining, was informed they received the garnishments by check in the mail and it could take a week. During that week I'd still accrue fee's and interest. I could pay off the total or make a partial payment but they couldn't tell me the total of fee's or interest that would accrue. I will still be garnished for those fee's until the garnishment payment arrives and is processed. When I asked how a medical bill from 2014 can still be active and garnished against I was informed if I wanted to dispute I'd need to do so in writing. Clearly I'm trying to pay, I am just really confused and wanted information. These people are not friendly. They are not helpful. They do not care about people. I understand their job is to collect debt but in the end, we are still people and we are still owed respect. I wasn't asking legal advice. I wasn't asking for personal information. I was just asking how the law worked because as far as I knew there was a statue of limitations. But maybe I was wrong. I didn't say anything about disputing. I just wanted information. But every time I have called and tried to talk to someone or get any information I am met with a cold and rude person.

Tried making payment arrangements with this firm several times. They wanted me to fill out paperwork to have them determine what I could pay. Unreal, unprofessional and mar they all get their karma, made two payments online and they then turned around and garnished my wages. Karma velo law!!$

Make sure you document EVERYTHING with this group.Very shady.

Would give a ZERO if possible. Spoke with someone who was extremely rude and patronizing trying to figure out what debt I owed, how much and what the payment options are. They refuse to give any information you or assist you in anyway. They are manipulating the system to work in their favor, refusing to provide you with your own account information, insisting you have to have your own legal representation to obtain this information and if you seeking a payment plan you have to fill out a financial statement detailing your monthly expenses compared to your net income. After explaining h this option the lady then told me it was a slim chance but she could mail me the documents or I can find them online and mail them in.

Nice and professional people to deal with. I had a debt that I had to pay off, but they worked with me to make a payment plan.

Refused to communicate via email, slow to respond and predatory. It is sad companies like this exist and can be profitable. I'm hoping Consumer Protection Bureau will take a look at the info provided.

Horrible, dishonest company. Avoid at all costs. Sent a summons for my daughter for a debt we were unaware of and had never been contacted about. Terrible customer service. Rude. Summons received after half of the 21 days had passed.

Very rude and hard to deal with.

This place is summoning me to court in 21 days in regards of a collection for a medical bill. The attorney refuses to speak to me in regards to a settlement unless I get my own attorney. I ask them to at least give him a note saying I would like to speak with him, they still won’t even do that. They don't do anything digitally, any settlements have to be negotiated back and forth via postal mail. They hit you with loads of fees, stack the system against you and back you into a corner. I’m going to get a lawyer just out of principle at this point and I am not going to settle. Be better, this company is whats wrong in the world today.

I called in good faith to take care of a debt I didn't even know I had. Was treated rudely from the start and they ended up hanging up on me. The woman I spoke with was named Maggie, I had to request her name as she didn't provide it when answering the phone. Very unprofessional throughout the conversation and then when I was waiting for my payment receipt (which we agreed before I gave her my credit card) she put me on hold again and then came back said she was too busy to look for it in 24-48 hours and hung up. If you are forced to deal with this company, make sure you follow up with the court or the other party to ensure follow through! Sketchy vibes there!!

They make it way too hard to get proof of payment on an account. Buying up medical debt and then harassing people is scummy.
