While just a consult, it was in fact free, honest, fast, and useful. His findings indicated valid reasons for not pursuing the case further, which was bad news for me, but seems to be accurate.

I'm the executor of my parent's estate, and taking care of their house sale from another state. I was concerned about the vacancy of the house, especially since there's a swimming pool, and several people had access to the property. I contacted Mr. Sanchez with concerns about my exposure to liability in regards to the property. He quickly explained the legal basis, translated that into a plan of action, then made sure I understood what should be done - all in a manner that I could easily follow, and within a few minutes. He had an immediate grasp on what was (to me) a complex matter, and conveyed that advice with clarity. On another occasion, he reviewed a proposal for ongoing services that I had written for a customer. After the work was mostly completed, my client stopped returning calls. I was concerned that I could still be liable to provide the services, since I had been partially paid - a gray area of what the services were worth individually vs. in whole. He reviewed the proposal, and instructed me on a response to give to the client which clarified my amateur proposal, and allowed me to terminate the relationship cleanly. On both of these occasions, the advice that he gave was quick, yet thoughtful and clear, giving me the confidence that he had an excellent grasp on the two different areas of practice.

A city I had not worked in was threatening to issue a bench warrant for not paying income taxes. The claim was unfounded and beyond the statute of limitation.
