Matt and his team have been amazing to work with. I live out of state and the mother of my child has made it very difficult for me to see my daughter. My child's mother was also collecting benefits from the state and the state came after me claiming I had not been paying child support. (I had been and had proof of it) After hiring Matt he filed a counter complaint asking for a hearing to establish parenting time and custody. Our motion was heard today and I am very happy to say, thanks to Matt's due diligence and quick response time, that I was given a temporary order for parenting time and joint legal and physical custody!! I was granted much more parenting time than I expected! I flew out to Michigan for the weekend for this hearing and Matt was even able to get me a court order saying I could have my daughter for the weekend while I was here!! Thank you so much Matt! I highly recommend Matt and his team to anyone going through a custody battle and has a co-parent that is not very easy to work with.

Matt took over my divorce at a point where he was basically 'thrown under the bus'. Due to my originals lawyers inability to do her job, I had to fire her weeks before it was supposed to go to court. Matt not only was willing to step in and help me, he did a spectacular job! His representation was professional and timely, despite the limited time, and his work was thorough and competent! I would recommend him to anyone other any of my future wives! I wouldn't want to have to go against him!

Matt did a great job with my complicated, multi-state case. He was mainly involved with the issues of court jurisdiction. He was very knowledgeable, responsive, and I appreciated the attentiveness he gave my case. He was very good at looking at my case from all angles and revealing the potential possibilities/outcomes/pitfalls. I could not have been happier with my experience with Matt. Divorce is a very challenging thing and Matt made it manageable. He kept me updated at every step and advocated for me more than I would have ever imagined. When he did not receive copies of my friend of the court agreement, he went to the court in Grand Haven to pick up copies himself. He was always available for any questions I had and he always made sure I was informed and comfortable with whatever decisions we made. My ex-husband was very difficult to work with and Matt handled it with grace. He made me feel like I was a person and that he really cared for his clients. He would always ask me about how my children were doing or how grad school was going. It made me feel like I was more than just his next divorce case. Matt was also very honest, he was very straight forward when there were things I could do myself that could help save money. I would highly recommended him!

Matt made sure to keep me updated throughout the entire divorce. He was well organized and very knowledgable able a lot of general knowledge areas. He stayed focused and made sure to things done and accomplished as I asked. He always had a great thought process to every scenario. Very caring and hard working. Great listener.
