By happenstance I found the Collens Estate Law firm through a Google search, called to ask for a consultation, and after an amazing "interview" that was courteous, considerate, patient and very thorough in their services, signed them up to represent the creation, drafting and writing of my Trust and Last Will and Testament. This was in January, 2024 and, after several additional consultations and meetings, we had our final review January, 2025. I received my completed Trust and Will today (in a beautifully prepared binder) that included a very detailed letter of instructions, all the necessary copies to execute the Trust, and Howard even included some additional resources to help guide me and navigate the new chapter of retirement. His staff, Josh and Mary, were an absolute joy to work with, ever attentive to responding to my calls and emails and always with a gracious, kind, and thoughtful smile. Howard Collens has provided his services to me for a few years now. Estate planning is not something I would know or care to or study in detail, so a great deal of trust is needed to make estate planning effective and applicable to your wishes. Unbelievable the comments here. He couldn’t handle an easy contract. He can’t understand the basic conversation. He was signed by my insurance company. My insurance company feels sorry about what I suffered from their service, and will monitor his other behaviors. He got the reimbursement from my insurance for the time he spent on the case even he didn’t do what he supposed to do, and also tried to charge me again. Totally unbelievable anyone can get help from this firm.
