I retained Howard Collens to represent me in the estate of my former husband. It was a complicated situation, requiring legal counsel and assistance in Michigan, Nebraska and Texas. Howard expertly managed the everything from probate to conservatorships to managing the estate. Mr. Collens and his associates were professional, responsive and supportive during what was a very difficult time. I would highly recommend him and his firm.

I’ve known and worked with Scott Galloway for the past 8 years on various Real Estate matters from constructing contracts to him handling my court cases. He is upfront and honest, sharing the pros and cons of each potential major decision and is able to take the legal complex jargon and re-frame into simpler concepts that are easier to understand. Scott has always been personable, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive and is unrelentingly dedicated during every step of the process and communicates updates promptly.
Recently, I had an urgent commercial lease issue that needed to be handled on very short notice which required court appearance but I could not attend because of an out of state obligation. Scott G. was fantastic! He was incredibly easy to work with as usual and quickly grasped the situation and came up with a cohesive strategy. Scott explained everything and presented options. He put me in a much better position with an outcome he negotiated and gave me confidence he was handling it appropriately. All under an unreasonable time crunch for my situation!
Highly recommend Scott G! The staff is also friendly and swift with following up and communicating.

Howard Collens is a highly qualified and competent attorney. I met him several years ago when I was taking a continuing legal education refresher class in probate law and process. Mr. Collens was one of the speakers. I found him to be personable and knowledgeable. I was comfortable enough with Mr. Collens that I referred a client to him. The client had a legal issue with a family trust with significant assets at stake and no easy solution in sight. Because of a conflict of interest, I could not handle the matter, but I had confidence Mr. Collens could. As it turned out, Mr. Collens and opposing counsel asked me to mediate a resolution. I found Mr. Collens was well prepared for the process. He assessed the legal situation, determined the most effective strategy and effectively cut through to the key points. Throughout a stressful mediation process, Mr. Collens used logic, the law, and street smarts to present his client’s case. He was compassionate, and tactfully direct with his client while aggressively advocating on his behalf. I would not hesitate to refer other cases to Mr. Collens and, in fact, I have. Mr. Collens is quite approachable and, I believe, effectively represents his clients.
