Mike Dungan is extremely professional, no nonsense, and attentive. I found myself in a situation that was beyond belief. I never thought I'd ever require a criminal defense attorney and what had happened was so strange and unfortunate. Mr Dungan didn't beat around the bush, told me exactly what to expect, and after one consultation was already formulating a defense. He was quick to respond to questions, despite being extremely busy, and kept it real throughout. I had never been in any sorta legal trouble in my life outside of some traffic & parking infractions all occuring 15 years ago and prior. I was more anxious and stressed than I had ever been and I'd spent time in the military working wK7ith explosives, but Mr. Dungan went out of his way to help put this anxiety at ease. His obvious professional knowledge and matter of fact manner went a long way in making me believe my trust in him was righteous. Mr Dungan shut down the prosecution in the face of a not fully truthful or accurate retelling of the events that had transpired by the arresting Blackman Township officer during my preliminary Exam. I have always supported law enforcement and as an Army combat veteran, relate to the difficult duties they fulfill daily, however, the way this officer's flagrant use of alternative facts spun the events into a more sinister situation while leaving key details put (making sure to mention I was parked in a handicapped space but not mentioning my handicapped placard that properly displayed, apparently to paint me as a scumbag), his inability to see the situation for what it was initially despite the evidence that supported my defense at the scene, his gross disrespect and vandalism of my vehicle during a search, the theft of some of my personal items from my vehicle, then most egregious act of all, the disposal of prescription medication that I explained would be required if I was detained, that I was given a specific amount per month and then falsely reporting it as if I were trying to hide my medication from his authority which left me with 2 days in terrible pain and withdrawal from a medication I had taken for 13 years. These slimy practices make me second guess whether the public servants our tax dollars pay for truly have our best interest at heart when taking on the role of our protectors. Mr. Dungan was so proficient in his practice of law, that he was able to shut down all the garbage dumped in the court room and my case was dismissed. Mr. Dungan is worth every penny he asks for in my opinion. I believe I will never require a criminal defense attorney again, as this was a very odd and unfortunate chapter in my life that doesn't reflect the realities of how I live day to day, but this only proves that bad luck can occur without warning at any time to anyone and if, forbid, it ever strikes again? My first call is to Dungan & Kirkpatrick and would recommend their services to anyone, despite how bleak or desperate their situation might appear. Thank you, Mr. Dungan. Thank you so very much. You truly pulled me out of the pit and I though I still feel a bit hypervigilant and apprehensive about going on as if the event never occured, it is so much better then being a wounded combat veteran going to prison, being stripped of the rights and freedoms I sacrificed to protect for all citizens, or having a probation officer scrutinizing my life for any length of time. You are truly amazing and an expert in your chosen profession. Going with Mike Dungan was one of the best pieces of advice I have ever been given. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. My name is John Coney I have a lengthy criminal history from my youth, now a middle age man was charged with possession of a firearm which normally means 5 years no questions asked but Mike Duncan was able to get me one year probation! I was able to keep my job and continue on with college to be certified as a maintenance technician, I truly appreciate Mike Duncan and would recommend his services!!!!
