Our family has had the blessing of interacting with Attorney Anastase "Tase" Markou on multiple, stressful occasions. Tase excels at what he does and is well respected in the courtroom. On a personal and professional level, outside of the courtroom, he is humble, gentle, gracious, while remaining straight to the point. He did not gloss over difficult situations, but we were confident that there was no one who could have done it better.

Just wanted to give a big shoutout to Attorney Anastase Markou and his awesome sidekick, Bethany Gatsby. They made my recent legal stuff way more bearable. First off, Mr. Markou knows his stuff and made me feel like I was in good hands. He's not just a legal eagle; he genuinely cares about his clients. What really rocked my socks was how upfront Mr. Markou was about the fees. No surprises, no hidden costs. That's pretty rare and seriously appreciated. And let's not forget the emotional support. In high level complex business law cases with multi-faceted aspects of complicated business situations, their work ethic was unmatched and their legal knowledge and capabilities were unrivaled. Their dedication to the truth and their highest ethical standards was inspirational. I was extremely impressed with their ability to keep our ship on the course of truth in spite of foggy conditions and amidst strong adversarial sometimes unforeseen headwinds. I also used Levine and Levine for Special Needs Trust planning. Their knowledge and skills in this very complex area of law is outstanding. I’ve used Joe Vanderhorst for a couple different family law and custody issues over the last 5 years! Joe is incredibly networked and experienced in family law in this area! He has never steered me wrong or inflated my expectations going into a legal battle. I value my family more than anything else and I would willingly place them in Joe’s hands again should I need to!

Attorney Dombos is excellent. He practically lives at his office (7 days a week) to make sure his clients are taken care of. He is a very caring attorney who treats his clients with dignity and respect. He makes time for them 7 days a week. He clearly is an asset to anyone he is involved with, and a great asset to the legal community.

If I could do 10 stars I would! I unfortunately cannot speak on other attorneys here, but if they’re anything like Jon Vander Horst I would highly recommend them! Jon on multiple occasions went above and beyond expectations for me, and I’m very grateful. He was very understanding and a great team player, he took his game plan and mine, merged them together and the outcome was amazing! I told him exactly what I wanted and he made it happen, just unbelievable! And the secretaries have been very helpful also when it comes to contacting him, nothing but very positive and effective results from this firm, STRONGLY RECOMMEND!!

Horrible experience with lawyers Joseph Vanderhorst and his unpleasant secretary Audra. I have been fighting an ongoing battle for years to keep joint custody of my kids. My ex wife continuously tries to inch away at my time in order to get more child support, so I decided to try a more strategic approach by involving a lawyer (Vanderhorst). In the beginning I told him I want half-joint custody like I originally had and he agreed after reviewing my case. That would be the first and last cooperation we would have together. The very first court date I was thrown off guard by him trying to get me to compromise to have less time than half (only 2 days) time with my kids and his big motivator was that my child support would drop down despite my original plan. Of course my ex seen through his fast talking and declined his attempts to end our case then and there, ie: the reason I told him I wanted half custody- my original order and we’ll probably have to fight, whole purpose of getting a lawyer.... I can go back and forth with my ex myself... instead of paying 2,500$ for someone to mediate. Oh and the 2,500$ originally started with a quote of 1500$ then after office visit he said it was a mistake. After first court date, and the entirety of his employment I seen no results but was steadily receiving new charges in the mail.... I mean ridiculous charges, 200$ for a email here and there that I had no knowledge of or received no information about... 100$ for gas up the road... 100$ for a phone call... 200$ for signing some paperwork. The total charges end up being close to 4000$ dollars, I still have seen no results, in fact I’m worst off now in debt, I fired him Due to lack of results, all talk and charging. His secretary Audra was very disrespectful as well, she acted as if she’s doing you a favor by taking his calls and at one point (which made me terminate services finally), she became a conflict of interest in my case, I felt as if she was representing my ex. Anyhow $4000 dollars later still in the same spot and paying the max in child support, while I have my kids only 2 days a week I still pay as if I never have them, and Joseph Vanderhorst couldn’t even tackle that. What a joke, more money for his pocket to drive around with in his Mercedes. I’m positive his whole agenda is to take your money and end your case quickly as possible even if it means sacrificing your rights and wants. Wish there were negative stars on the rating.
