I’m extremely disheartened and disappointed with everything that has happened to my loved one’s case at the hands of Tase - he was supposed to be the best. Tase is either overworked or over-confident in his ability; I’m not sure which one it is. There’s no communication or transparency, I have to explain things to the lawyer multiple times over, and I get billed EVERY time. The meetings aren’t productive and nothing gets done until I’m so angry that I yell at people. Nothing meaningful has happened in my husband’s case. I’ve lost all hope in the case reaching resolution. Tase told me he could get my husband home in 60-90 days. It’s been 8 months. That timeframe was why I hired him, and I feel like he pissed away precious time in my husband’s case and has wasted my time. I almost fired him at the 90 day mark when nothing had been done. I wish I would have. I actually filed for commutation because Tase has dragged his feet so long and made so many excuses. There’s also a lack of common sense and tact. Tase had the nerve to bring up a very expensive vacation to Greece that obviously my dime helped make possible when I’m barely making it to pay for the case. It was incredibly tone deaf, elitist, and out of touch. I feel failed by every single level of the system. There’s work that the paralegal could have done that Tase decides he’s going to do instead and inevitably gets screwed up. Such as requesting a

I had to leave review on friends account because Google wouldn't let me use mine for some odd reason but my name is Chase Rollins I hired Sarrissa Montague to defend me in a felony possession of fire arms case in July of 2022. I was terrified at the time because I was dealing with other legal issues in another state at that time. Sarrissa went ABOVE and BEYOND in every way to help me and ended up getting me time served! Basically saving my life or at least saving me from spending a large portion of it in prison. She seemed to really care when I told her the changes I had made in my life and conveyed the positive things I had done in court that I believe is the reason I got such a favorable outcome . I would hire her again in a heart beat and would highly recommend you hire her if you find yourself in legal trouble in Michigan.
