I hired attorney Jessica LaFond when I found myself in a tough situation. She was very patient with me, the support staff is great and I had an amazing outcome to my case. Best possible scenario given my situation. Saved me a lot of problems I may have had and things that could have haunted me for years to come. They are a smaller firm, yes- but very knowledgeable and if your assigned attorney is unavailable for whatever reason another one steps in and helps you all the way. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A lesson I learned with the judicial system is patience goes a LONG way and while it can be frustrating sometimes, in the end Is worth the wait.

Hill law, Mike and Trevor, are the most unethical, unprofessional, unseasoned attorneys I have ever come across. In the course of 20 years of various businesses, I have hired near 500k in attorneys. I know the good and the bad when I see them, and have fired countless groups for legal malpractice and unethical practices. Hill law seems to be cut from the same cloth. This group was hired for the simplest of matters, one of which could’ve been fully resolved in a month tops. Hill law, specifically Trevor, was hired to deal with a simple matter, that a child with no education could litigate. I kindly asked this group and Trevor to present of motion and proposed order for all discovery, and to challenge all discovery as it was fabricated, hearsay, lacking jurisdiction, and meritless. Instead, Trevor and Hill law willfully choose not to follow the instructions of a fully paid client, one of which the instructions were clear, precise, and to the point if they weren’t followed, that it would result in gross negligence and legal malpractice. Instead of raising this issue, I allowed this group to proceed. Over the course of several months, nearly a year, this group failed to gather and challenge evidence once, until threatened with legal measures. Mind you all of this is heavily documented, recorded, and accurate. Over the course of several months, Trevor was a coward in front of the prosecutor, the judge, and me. Instead of doing his Job, gathering, and challenging evidence on day one, Trevor decided to waste my time, dragging me back and forth to court, simply to present laughable plea deals from the prosecutors that had zero evidence. I eventually had enough, as Mike Hill, Hill law, and Trevor were kindly asked by a fully paid client, not to present months of plea deals, but rather, simply gather the proposed evidence, challenge it, and the matter would be resolved. I had to threaten hill law with gross negligence, legal malpractice, and several other legal remedies. In fact, not one motion that was successful was written by Hill law or Trevor. I had take hours of my time, totally several days to draft and write motions to discover and challenge information presented falsely against me. It got so bad, Hill law was essentially making back room deals with the prosecutors, instead of representing a paying client. I had to take nearly a week off from positive business, in order to write motions and orders that Hill law in writing over 17 times refused to draft, until truly threatened with major lawsuits. This matter was dismissed once, and the prosecutor tried to be disgusting and threaten a higher charge, with hopes I would plea out. No new evidence, no real evidence, and not even a real case. It was simply a vendetta and malicious prosecution, one of which Hill law willing went along with and failed to protect their paying client from. The motions and orders I drafted for Hill law were refused 17 times in phone calls, emails, and text, until a lawsuit was drafted. Said motions and orders that Mike Hill, Hill Law, and Trevor admittedly refused to draft and sign, got the matter dismissed for a second time. Lawsuits are drafted against Hill Law for negligence and legal malpractice, and the prosecutors for malicious prosecution. Avoid this group entirely. They do as they are told by the judges and prosecutors, instead of securing the best interests of the client paying them. Avoid this group and seek council that hits hard from day one, and not a year later after being threatened with lawsuits. What was completed with the motions and orders I drafted and they signed, was what they were supposed to complete month one. There was nothing new a year later, excluding a lawsuit holding them to be accountable to do there job. Avoid this group. Mr. King

Becket was my original lawyer, but with his decision to run for judge, I was assigned with Cody to take over my case. I was skeptical at first, just for the mere fact I had no worked with Cody prior. But, I was very pleased with him and am very grateful for all of his hard work, and the one-on-one commitment, he gave to me. He recently won my case.
