When the closing on the sale of our property in Paw Paw was repeatedly delayed because of a title issue, we turned to Jason Machnik for help. We were so glad that we did. He assured us that the error in the property description in the deeds that was preventing the title company from issuing a title policy was not a problem at all. He immediately contacted the title company and explained why the property description in the deeds was accurate and that the costly and time consuming "corrective actions" they were proposing were totally unnecessary. He then contacted our buyer and relieved her concerns as well. A few days later, the title policy was issued, and we closed on the sale. There is no doubt, it was Jason's knowledge, responsiveness and professionalism that made all the difference.

I had spoken with Mr. Machnik regarding a lien (intent to file) process. I do not need to hire the firm at this time, since the lien process is in the beginning stages. Plus, Mr. Machnik had suggested a couple ways to resolve the issue out if the court system. Which can save me some money. A big part of our conversation was about the amount fees that would need to pay if I hire him. I like to save money, but I also wish to see if I may be released from both contracts with Ayers Basement Systems. Reason, both projects were not finished in a timely matter. The basement project had been delayed 48 days to complete. The company did not return on there third day scheduled April 29, 2022 to complete their work or to perform the cleanup. They waited 48 day to complete the project, June 16, 2022. The lien issues comes from a driveway contract. I have the contract but I am waiting for the driveway to be completed per contract. The last date that Ayers Basement Systems performed any work on the driveway was June 28, 2022. I continue to reach out to make time to have the driveway completed per contract, but they only want the payment. I have instructed that Ayers will not finished the driveway per contract. I am thankful for the conversation with Mr. Machnik. This conversation began at 10am, on 8/25/2022, which was 30 mins earlier than scheduled.

I am the trustee of an irrevocable family trust managed out of the State of California. The trust required the transfer of real property located in Michigan from the trust to an individual living in Michigan.
