Rob Andretz was more than great and I highly recommend him and his firm! I had a probation violation in Southfield, MI (46th District Court - Judge Sheila Johnson) from 2011. I was not a resident of Michigan when I received these charges. I reached out to the court myself in early 2023 and found out I was classified as abscounded for the last 12 years and a bench warrant out for my arrest. I knew then I needed an attorney to handle this for me because I did not want to go to jail. I had a probation violation on a possession of marijuana, DUI, possession of a firearm under the influence...all misdemeanor charges but up to a year in jail. My attorney advised me of exactly what I needed to do to take care of this matter. Three months later June 2023, he was able to have my drug charge removed from my record under the 7411, no jail time, the same judge from 2011 released me from probation. Rob was available whenever I contacted him by phone, text and email. He kept in touch with me on a regular basis and made me feel totally secure that he was working on my behalf in my best interests. I have finally been able to get a driver's license again. As soon I qualify for expungement of my record, I will be contacting Rob again to assist me with that.

I was charged with a misdemeanor for driving with an expired license and my case was at the 52-4 district court, Troy, MI. This would be a criminal case and would have a great impact on my H1b work visa. Robert helped me reduce this to a civil infraction ( Fail to Use Due care and caution) and got the criminal case dismissed. He showed great professionalism throughout the process and had the patience to answer all my doubts. I was very comfortable dealing with him and I would highly recommend him.

I would highly recommend Rob Andretz to represent you. I found myself facing 2 misdemeanor charges in the 12th District Court of Jackson County and as a healthcare professional this was extremely stressful. He was able to get me a very favorable outcome and I am very pleased. He was also able to put me at ease during a very trying time. I can't thank him enough for his expertise and professionalism.

Robert Andretz served as my attorney for four years while dealing with Michigan Medical Board Complaints against my license. When the state finally issued their complaints, Mr. Andretz was able to call me after hours on a Friday night to see how I was coping with it. That call helped alleviate a lot of anxiety I had built up of the unknown expectations of the Michigan Medical Board statements, and ultimately allowed the settlement to be a monetary one. This meant a lot to me to allow me to continue to practice medicine without the loss of board certification and loss of insurance accreditation. He prepared me thoroughly for a hearing we eventually did not require. Mr. Andretz was the consummate professional and his personal knowledge of the personnel and workings of the Medical Board made a huge difference in my case. Any health professional with a board complaint would benefit from having Mr. Andretz on their legal team. Chapman Law Group has a strong voice for justice with Mr. Robert Andretz.

I hired Rob in June of 2021 to guide me through the RN reinstatement process. I am very pleased with his performance. He is very knowledgeable of the entire process. If a person follows Robs instruction to a tee and works with him, I am confident they will have great results as I did. I was reinstated in May of 2022. Rob is a great guy and gets results. He will be the first Attorney I turn to if ever needed in the future.

Robert is an excellent attorney for health care professionals that have been charged with operating while intoxicated (OWI) or other related offenses. He was excellent in explaining the process to me and making me aware of the options I had. Robert was able to handle my case in Westland, Michigan with confidence and professionalism. I was very concerned about maintaining my health care profession license, and Robert walked me through each step that would occur and how I could mitigate any negative actions against my license. My legal outcome, and licensing outcome, was more positive than I had originally thought it would be, and I am so glad Robert was my choice for guiding me through this process. Robert is an excellent communicator with his clients and he makes you feel like he actually cares about you as a person. Also, Robert will help you report your conviction to the Michigan State Board of Nursing and show you how to handle the HPRP referral process. I highly recommend Robert to other health care professionals who are facing OWI charges or other alcohol/drug related offenses in Michigan.

I love being a student at Cooley Law School. What attracted me to Cooley was the ease of the admissions process, small classroom sizes, and the diversity of students. Since attending Cooley, I have found that the administration has cultivated a culture of respect toward all students.
Before starting Cooley, I had a good GPA & LSAT score, and I already held a master’s degree in social science. Before coming to Cooley, I had a successful career. I owned two businesses, and I was at the top of my field. I even had a letter of recommendation from a Judge. I could have gone to one of many schools. I applied to Cooley in July of 2021 and started classes in August of 2021.
On average, I attend class with around 40-50 other students. The cohorts are broken up into two sections to ensure a greater degree of individualized learning. Some law schools will have over 100 students in large lecture halls.
I love the diversity at Cooley. I love that Cooley provides opportunities that open doors for students that may not have been competitive in the traditional law school settings. They have programs to help students that apply with lower GPAs or test scores. Several of my classmates, including myself, were diagnosed with learning disabilities during our formative years. The professors provide multiple approaches to meet all learning styles. The experiential exercises have made a lasting impression. Like the time the criminal law class analyzed “No body no Crime” by Taylor Swift. This analysis was a fun subject to talk about at Thanksgiving Dinner and helped solidify the learning of the elements of the crime. Cooley has more female than male students. There is a wide variety of racial and ethnic groups. There are students of all ages in attendance. I value being in an academic environment where multiple perspectives can be considered.
As an older learner, it takes me longer to learn new concepts. I have found that most of my professors are dedicated to my success. There is a tutoring program on all of the core subjects, held in a group format, online, at a time that does not conflict with the traditional student schedules. The lectures and tutoring sessions are recorded, so students can go back and watch them at their convenience. Further, my professors have an open-door policy. They do not hold office hours. Instead, you e-mail them your availability, and they will meet with you either in person or via Webex at a mutually agreeable time.
I have enjoyed the openness of the administration towards student suggestions. On the first day of law school, I walked into the Dean's office and suggested improving BAR pass rates. She did not know that one of the focuses of my master’s degree involved analyzing organizational systems. I was sure she thought, this student just got here, and she is already suggesting changes. But that was not the case. Instead, she forwarded my suggestion to the upper administration, and exactly what was suggested was implemented the following semester.
There appears to be a misconception among students that Cooley is easy. Although it is easy to get into, the rigors of the course work are challenging, even for neurotypical students. The professors expect more from us, and nothing is handed to us. Only two students in my first semester class made the deans list. I had a friend who attended Michigan State University. When I told her about my experience at Cooley, she was in disbelief. Her education was much easier. However, her internship was at a legal aid clinic that included Cooley students. She felt as though the Cooley students were much better prepared for the practice of law than her Michigan State cohort. For those concerned about having a job after law school, and the students in Chicago are not interested, if you are willing to relocate to Northwest Indiana, many well-paid jobs are waiting for you. Just look me up online, and I will help you find a placement. Thank you for your time and attention, and best of luck in your educational pursuits.

I recently utilized the services of the Chapman Law group. Specifically, I employed the legal council of Rob Andretz to represent me on a legal issue that in my opinion is driven by somewhat archaic laws being enforced by the DEQ. Rob is a thoughtful and well versed attorney who was able to navigate through this legal issue I experienced in the Grand Traverse area and the 86th District Court through perseverance and clear understanding of the legal system. I appreciate that Rob took the time to thoroughly research the details surrounding my case as well as opportunities to present options that met my expressed outcome when we initially discussed my case. After understanding my concern and completing his research, Rob successfully worked with opposing council to mitigate my issue and arrive at a favorable result for my case. I would highly recommend Rob and the Chapman legal team.
