Paid 20,000 custody case went on for 1 1/2 years before they fininally did anything, switched from thomas to Aaron due to low balling me for money, constant badgering about money. In the end got a high bill and not a lot of fight

One of the best criminal defense lawyers in the county if not the state!

If your an abusive/neglectful parent who allows a child under age 4 to overdose at least twice then this is a great law firm for you. Aaron Bartel will fight for you diligently. He will probably do the exact opposite of what is in the best interest of the child and make sure the abuse and neglect continues. He has no morals or interest in protecting the best interest of the child only the abusive parent.

Horrible business paid 8500 for a custody case and they did absolutely hardly any work for my case. Nothing good but money hungry. Was told prior to retaining him by another couple about them retaining Shaffer and Bartel and same thing with them. Take your money and that's it no fight at all...this is for custody/foc.

J. Thomas Schaeffer was a complete disappointment. he sepnt more time satisfying opposing council than he did making sure that I got the right result. I spent 33,000.00 and still doon't have custody of my kids, my divorce, has lasted almost 2 years and even though there is a judgement agaisnt my ex-husband Mr. Schaeffer cannot seem to be able to get him to pay me the money he owes me. Furthermore, he is so insignificant that other lawyers refuse to call him back after many attempts he simply shrugs his shoulders and moves on.
