He has little motivation for life it seems. He doesn't care to even show up to court on time, let alone presentable. His clothing is inappropriate. His attitude is disgusting. And he undoubtedly should not be practicing. Hes damaged lives and is eating boxes of twinkies not giving one care. He doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Mr. Smith seems to have some knowledge of the law but doesn't have much motivation to use it. It takes a bit of, "prodding," to get him to file motions, do any research, ask relevant questions during hearings, etc. After you can get him motivated and interested, he may be of some help to you and your case. Unfortunately, though, sometimes it seems like his mind is made up, whether or not you, his client, is already guilty of the crime. As reviewer Corey says, he does appear to be working with the courts or seems not to want to question steps that the prosecution may be taking towards prosecution of his client. Ultimately, I would recommend trying to find other counsel, if possible. Mr. Smith is usually appointed by the courts as free counsel to defendants that they wish to be poorly represented. It appears that courts that are involved with repeat offenders usually assign him to represent the offender. Another piece of information, that I would like to add, is that Mr. Smith appears to be autistic. He is very awkward in social situations and hesitant to respond to you when speaking with him, such as when discussing your case. He avoids eye contact and has abnormal facial expressions when speaking. If you can get him to relax or once you build up a rapport, he is usually a bit more easy to talk with. I kept him as counsel because I did not have sufficient funds to be able to hire a different attorney. I was hoping that maybe he would be like the character, Shaun Murphy from the television series, The Good Doctor, and have a miracle plan of action. Unfortunately, this was not the case.
