If someone is going through a divorce, I cannot recommend anyone more strongly than Jennifer Lujan. During my divorce case, I was dissatisfied with my previous attorney and sought out Jennifer. I found her to be exemplary to my standards. What I was seeking was: First, an attorney who partnered with me, informed me, and let me be a part of the process. Some attorneys try to “control” their clients because they are more concerned about their own reputations as they build report with the judges and other attorneys... Jennifer puts her clients first. She educates her client and allowed me to feel in control of the decisions. Second, an attorney who could understand complex issues. My divorce had many complicated allegations and half-truths that became twisted... Jennifer was able to see through the malarkey and get to the facts. She's extremely intelligent and can equally provide the calming affect when it is smarter to negotiate and be a bulldog-on-a-steak when it is time to put up a fight. She will also think outside the box... overall, I was very impressed with her range of tools when dealing with complex issues, including how she is able to argue those issues in front of a judge, in a way that is easy to follow. Third, an attorney who could “counsel”. Going through a divorce is an emotionally grueling process, irregardless of how strong a person you are. She makes herself available for discussions in a way that helps a person not only get through the case, but move forward in life, especially for parents who have kids to raise. Jennifer understands that getting divorced (and pretty much any family law issue) is about way more than the law... she helps her clients navigate the entire process and helps set them up for success. I cannot say enough good things about Jennifer. She's one of a kind and I'm glad she's on my side!

Jennifer was incredibly thorough and had every aspect of my complicated case addressed. Her knowledge and attention to detail was admirable, and much appreciated at a very stressful time in my family's life. Her down-to-earth personality was reassuring to me and proved to resonate with the court. I never had a doubt that Jennifer had my best interest at heart, and I would not hesitate to hire her again.

I would highly recommend Jennifer! She was there every step of the way through this difficult time. She listened and had the childrens best interest, but was firm when needed,even with me. She gave me some great advice along the way also.
