I have been working with Elaine Stypula since 2015. She has helped me navigate through multiple parenting time motions. Elaine is excellent at keeping everyone focused on the things that matter and helping separate emotions when needed. She has also been aggressive when needed.

Elaine is very reliable and efficient. Her no-nonsense approach won’t waste your time or money. She is honest, caring and knowledgeable. When going through difficult times it is nice to not be taken advantage of. I Highly recommend Elaine.

Elaine Stypula has been representing me since 2013. I wish I had found her earlier. Elaine presents herself with calm solid confidence. Elaine has been amazing throughout the divorce process. She gave me great advice over the initial consultation and helped me understand how to protect my interests throughout the process. Elaine is forceful and flexible; she knows when to fight and when to finesse and is in her element doing either. If your divorced is contentious (mine was) - she is the person you want in your corner. She not only immediately and deeply understood the legal issues at play but also the psychological issues. I came to Elaine in a desperate time. I was at risk of loosing custody of my daughter. From the first consultation Elaine made me feel at ease. She carefully explained the process and guided me through all the steps I needed to take. This was not an easy case. Elaine stuck with me for close to 2 years fighting hard for me and my daughter. I really felt like she had a personal investment in my case meaning she actually cared about me getting custody. Not just the money. Even when I was going through hard times financially Elaine was patient and understanding and worked with me every step of the way. And to this day if ever I need any legal advice Elaine is my attorney. Would refuse to allow me to manage my case and refuse to input important information I requested. Her response when asking or talking to her about your concerns is, "if you don't like it, find another attorney". I diligently paid her on a weekly basis to avoid a surprise, enormous amount of money as a threat to stay on case- when she is town. If you have the money, do research and find a reputable family law attorney.
