Jakub S. Szlaga is a rare person and an even more rare Attorney. He is quiet, soft spoken and humble. He is rare in that he genuinely cares about his clients both as clients and as people. He recognizes that we have come to him and entrusted him with one of the most important challenges of our lives and that the consequences of anything but giving us his best could mean disaster for us. He is clearly not doing this line of work for the meager some of money we paid him. It is obvious that he is passionate about helping families be and stay united through their immigration processes. Our case was not simple because there were legal issues in my background that posed potential pitfalls for us. If you are looking for an immigration attorney then you likely already know that the immigration process is rife with stories about things gone wrong, misunderstandings, missed deadlines and mistakes. Jacob did countless hours of research and advised us thoroughly on how to navigate these situations so that these issues would not even be a concern for us. Because of all his hard work they were never brought up at all. Jacob met with us regularly when things were delayed during covid just to reassure us, responded to all our questions and concerns and made us feel that we had nothing to worry about. I’ve used Jakub for my green card renewal as well as application for citizenship. Both times were seamless and successful.
