I remember on my first phone call with Stacey she told me i wouldn’t be getting alimony - (she couldn’t have been more wrong) but i should have known that was a red flag, especially considering she knew nothing about the situation yet. But because i knew little to nothing about the divorce process, I hired Stacey during one of the most stressful and uncertain times in my life. I was a stay at home mom, and i was scared. Stacey made me feel stupid for every question and concern i had. I felt like a burden and unimportant the entire time she was “representing” me. I also had a very hard time getting in contact with her. There was a huge lack of communication and professionalism. After 4 months of feeling stuck and hopeless, a friend suggested i talk to one of his lawyer friends about switching. Thankfully i switched and the IMMEDIATE sense of relief i felt was worth every penny it cost me. My new lawyer actually listened and cared about me and my daughters best interest, he made sure i was always in the loop, addressed each and every one of my concerns, and actually represented/fought for me. I would not recommend her services to anyone and I’m thankful every single day that i made the switch.
