I'm feeling hope for the first time in years after my consultation call! Reading the reviews led me here so I had to write one; Lawrence was amazingly kind and helpful and I am so looking forward to this finally being behind me with the help of this firm!

We hired Sam to represent my son in a juvenile case, he was absolutely incredible to work with. From our first meeting, I knew he was our guy (he also came highly recommended by someone in Oakland County Courts), he is down to earth, knowledgeable, and tenacious. Sam was able to get my son the best possible scenario through his diligence, relationship and cooperation with the prosecutors office in Oakland County. In addition, Sam and Rebecca ensured we had everything we needed, kept communication open, and were always quick to respond to any inquiries (and I had a lot!) I would recommend Sam to anyone looking for an amazing attorney who will work hard for you.

This is a hard review to write, because there is no way to put into words how grateful we are to Sam Bennett. He successfully defended our son, and ended a 10 year nightmare our family has been living. Our son was placed on the Tier I SOR for 15 years in 2013. I believe that if Sam Bennett had been his attorney, at that time, our son would have never been found guilty. As the judge stated, it was a convoluted case. Sam Bennett and his assistant, Rebecca Lashbrook, were amazing. They were professional, compassionate and reassuring. Even more important is the fact that Mr. Bennett was able to lift the suffocating weight off our backs for the first time since 2013. We could actually breathe and relax. Our son, and his son, can finally get on with their lives. Thank you Sam Bennett.

Sam was hired for a juvenile case which was very serious. The “system” was confusing and overwhelming. It seemed like as parents we had zero rights and everyone else knew more about our kid than we did. We felt unheard and like we were stupid. Our child felt alone and that no one cared. From the first conversation with Sam, we were instantly put at ease. The case was explained very clearly to us and Sam was always available to answer questions or to just be an encouragement and comfort during the most stressful time of our lives. His advice for handling all of the minor details was timely and spot-on. It made us feel like we had some control over what feels like an out-of-control situation. When needing to hire a defense attorney, one can sure feel like a loser, alone and full of shame. Sam was honest and non-judgmental. He wanted to hear the whole story and really cared about his client. I’ve worked in the “system” for many years and know many attorneys, prosecutors, and police. Sam is far and away one of the kindest, genuine, and caring professionals I have ever met. He excels in knowing when to be those things for his clients and when to be tough and tenacious. He fought very hard in our case and achieved an outcome better than we expected. He is all business to those in the system who need to be handled with “business.” If you feel alone, overwhelmed, or afraid, I would say to give Sam a call and let him help you carry the burden. It’s at least worth the phone call. We honestly can’t say enough good things about him.
