My name is Robert Schultz and I found myself needing a lawyer for 2 felony DUI’s Habitual 4, Needless to say I was in a bad spot let alone the anxiety and depression that set in, I was fortunate enough to have my bail bondsman to take a liking to me and offer up some good advice for my situation and that was to contact a good lawyer. I know a few good lawyers but I didn’t know Jim Amberg who he highly recommend and I researched Jim and found nothing but positivity but I was still nervous because I new good Good lawyers and I was comfortable with them. I made The call to Mr. Amberg and after a couple minutes of conversation with Jim my anxiety started to Subside and I started to gain some confidence for the first time since my bad Decisions. My Experience in the past with most of the problems that I caused myself and having to use attorneys was that I usually went to the Attorney and met in there office, But this was different from the start and Jim showed up at my house the next day and went over every detail with my son and I For 2 hours and from that day forward Jim installed confidence In my son and I that things were going to work out and was always positive as I’m always looking at negative and That was hard to do with Jim around. I had a few more months of court dates that all were positive and confidence was high and anxiety was low a big plus In my life in trouble or not But contributed to Jim’s character and treating my son and I like family to this day. I still had a big decision to make to either go to trial or make a deal and from the beginning I was looking at about five years in prison, Jim spoke multiple times over months to me about this and Jim’s a trial lawyer and from all the respect given by other attorneys wile You’re in Jim’s presence you can tell he’s a damn good one. I have a past and no fault of Jim’s but I had to Consider that When thinking about going to trial. My son and I talked with Jim Although Jim wanted to go to trial i decided to take a year in the county jail that I thought was more then fair for my Decisions that got me here. I still had a PSI and more conversations with Jim before sentencing that were all positive and when it came to sentencing Jim Went to bat for me like he had for 7 months and I was sentenced to 6 months work release and 3 years probation. Jim’s still a factor in my life as a friend or a lawyer and has made me a better person and I’m 2 years sober and working everyday to be a better person in this world and I thank Mr Amberg and his wife for the path they were a big factor putting me on. Jim saved my career. Not only was I not guilty, Jim proved it. My case was not a walk in the park. The procecuter tried everything in the playbook to make it hard for me. Jim was able to bring all the facts to the table in a way that the Jury had only one option to pick, NOT GUILTY. If you need a trial lawyer, Jim is your man!

A complete rip off. I would have been better off representing myself. What a joke these guys are.
