I had the pleasure of working with Brian Bez and Eric Steinberg. Brian did my home visit and I was worried at first and expecting a straight cut lawyer type. But when Brian showed up he was just as laid back and human as me and you. Of course he was very professional and did his job, but I felt very comfortable with him. Eric was the same very professional yet easy to talk to and very understanding. Eric was always right on top of things and didn't get frustrated when I would call. I would definitely recommend the Law Offices of Lee Steinberg to anyone who needs a lawyer. They do amazing work. Thank you guys again for all you do.

They pawned me off to another firm after promising to help me. Still in limbo.

My case was brought to the Steinberg Firm and held for months before I was told about the “Open and Obvious” doctrine. I expressed my uneasy feeling of how I was being handled to Mr. Steinberg and was basically pushed back to Franci Silver, who gave me the feeling of the most uneasiness, I felt that she was not working in my best interest from the start because of something she said to me that I questioned to Mr. Lee Steinberg personally and directly. He assured me that she would be the best attorney to represent my case and now I believe that she was not after the statute of limitations is nearly up. I was told that I should not gain from being injured, but the Law Firm gains from any settlement that is negotiated on my behalf. How contradictory!!! My foot was almost severed and left hanging by only skin and I never heard of the statutes quoted until I was pushed into a settlement agreement. Now, I’m left impaired for life with basically no compensation because of delayed information and what I feel was bigotry. I felt that the representation didn’t want me to truly be compensated for anything, I know that my medical expenses were not negotiated in totality nor my pain or suffering. I feel that I was not given the best representation that I could have been given and that information was withheld that was crucial to my decision to retain the Lee Steinberg Law Firm. I’m very displeased and extremely dissatisfied with the representation that I received, especially from Franci Silver.I was charged for things that I shouldn’t have had to pay for like updates on my case by phone calls that I was never made aware of being charged for until my final billing from the law firm. There was a lot that was not given to me in writing. The months that elapsed was actually almost 2 years or approximately a year and a half that no one even mentioned that Michigan has a law called Open and Obvious that pertains to snow and ice being present that caused an incident/accident, but as trained legal the law firm should have come to me early on in my case to let me know there wouldn’t be much compensation for my permanent injury that has left me with a permanent defect and disability. And, especially that the small compensation that was to be awarded would be absorbed by the law firm by almost half. But, I was told to be “grateful “ for whatever I received. In my opinion this is not a law firm to handle personal injury. Unless someone is apprised on laws and have lawyer’s that are honest and upfront about the situation again, in my firsthand experience, this is not a law firm for minorities. I still don’t know what the phrase “you people” referred to in a conversation with Franci Silvers I still feel that I was not represented appropriately by this law firm and would never refer them to represent minorities. All I can think of or imagine was because I am an African American woman is why that was said to me. And, why almost half of the small settlement was taken by the Steinberg Firm. An $89 thousand dollar settlement is not a large settlement for being permanently disabled with almost half going to the law firm for charges for phone calls that was never disclosed to have to pay for. The letters mailed out after months past that didn’t give any new information but being added to charges as legal costs, the law firm just used their legal expertise to maneuver the funds from me.of course the law firm will present themselves as being genuine, but tread cautious with this firm if you don’t know about laws that pertain to your situation. Yes, they may be great for disability law or automobile accidents, but in my opinion not good for personal injury.

I went to them for a Bankruptcy and I didn’t qualify to get my court fees waived! Which I really feel like I did! And I agreed to pay the balance! They just took out a payment without my authorization! I would never go to them again! I went to morrie and they passed me alone to his son and I didn’t know what was going on and I didn’t understand the process! I told them I didn’t want to keep my car in my bankruptcy and they had to amend and correct it because I was gonna be charged for my car note after the bankruptcy! They made me feel like I was paying for them to do something secretive and when I had questions it was like they never fully explained the answer! They didn’t make me fee important and I was just like any other case! I will not return or recommend them to anybody
