I was referred to Mr. Hamawi for a life insurance case on behalf of my elderly parents after my youngest brother died of Covid. We had a difficult case, and many attorneys were unable to help us. After we hired Mr. Hamawi, he immediately obtained from the insurance company all documents regarding our case, and strategically negotiated with the insurance company over a period of several months. Due to his skills and expertise, he obtained a substantial settlement, more than five times what we were willing to accept. He works hard and knows all of the ins and outs when dealing with insurance companies. I highly recommend Mr. Hamawi to anyone suing a life insurance company for wrongful denial of life Insurance company.

John was very professional quick to respond despite how busy he is. He went over everything that would happen with me, advised me of upcoming decisions and possibilities, and helped me make informed decisions regarding my custody case. Worst place ever I gave them $5000 deposit and they did nothing for me in court. They just drained the money and wanted more without doing anything. Would never recommend.

Elizabeth handled my divorce with a high level of competency and professionalism. She was always on point and exhibited patience and understanding at all times when it came to helping me navigate the process, emotions, and upheaval inherent when a marriage, and consequently a family, breaks up. She never lost sight of my individual interests and most importantly, continually helped me think through the issues and supported my insistence that EVERY move be done in the best interests of my children rather than me. I would highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone navigating the convoluted process that is divorce in Michigan - in my opinion, the system is fraught with pitfalls, assumptions, and generalizations that set the parties up for conflict at every turn; not to mention the ever-present potential for the unintended (I hope!) consequence of inflicting real damage on families and most tragically, the children. I thought I could navigate it myself and save the money but in the end I'm glad I didn't even try - it requires a steady, knowledgeable, dedicated and detailed professional and Elizabeth proved herself to be all of these things and more. Even though I hope I won't need her services again because I have no intentions of EVER going down the marriage road again and am recommending that my kids consider the same, if I found myself in this predicament once more, I wouldn't hesitate to retain Elizabeth and highly recommend her to anyone else considering a divorce.
