It's very hard in today's day and age to find hard working and honest lawyers. Somehow Goodman Acker has recruited all of them to work for them. It is truly a breath of fresh air to have attorneys that work hard and are incredibly transparent with you, helping you understand everything they are doing on your behalf. While I would never wish anyone I know to need an attorney, if they ever did I would highly recommend Goodman Acker to them!

Barry Goodman took on my case when i was most in need. He assigned Laurie Kies to assist me in the process. That was 7 years ago. Injured from an accident in the lower spine, I needed significant surgeries to repair the damage. This long road of 5 years could absolutely not been navigated alone. Laurie and Barry walked with me in that process dealing with insurance companies, doctors offices and disability personnel. They not only helped cover all medical expenses in my case, they also made sure I was receiving disability pay in accordance with Michigan law. They fought for my freedom from the weight of this process that was crushing me. They not only succeeded beyond expectation, I feel they are a part of my own family. Today, we are still working together to help others in the same need. I have referred many close friends and relatives. ALL have been cared for with the same love. I thank Barry and Laurie for giving me the financial freedom to fulfill my dreams of being a missionary in the Dominican Republic on the border of Haiti, also, to be the Executive Director of our own non-profit Building Bridges of Hope.
