I could not ask for better. Even during times of self-procrastination, Mr. Reinheimer provided motivation to accomplish the goal. Happy Customer....

Attorney Steven Reinheimer did an excellent job representing me in my change in domicile case. His research and methods were instrumental in bringing forth an excellent defense that resulted in the change in domicile motion being denied. Attorney Reinheimer worked tirelessly on my case to get the desired outcome. His legal experience and knowledge of family law undoubtedly were essential in us winning our case. He's awesome! :-)

I found Steven to be a very professional and trusted advisor during this very stressful time. He stated early on "this is my first divorce but this is his 71st" and it showed. He knows the ins and outs of the process and helped guide me though the incorrect expectations and misconceptions I had early on and put me back on the tracks. A quick Google search on Steven Reinheimer will provide a reassuring look at his credentials, but Steven’s real strength is ability to make a personal connection. His canny use humor also helped diffuse some of my unproductive moments of emotion – forcing a grin or chuckle at some of my darkest moments. But, a divorce is business, he will fight for the fairest settlement … and that does mean he may apply some pressure, make you think, before accepting any settlement. I was not happy with Adam lawfirm and how they handled my divorce case. I was left in the dark for roughly a 5 month period. Until the day before court dates. I would get a call and get slightly filled in and still have alot of half answers questions or I would be told to not worrry about that now. I will get billed for every email sent. Even if it had one sentence in it. Steven did end up delivering at the end and I was content with the judgement. Just wish more could of been discussed about what my kids wanted instead of it just being swept under the rug.

Steven is extremely knowledgeable and specialized about matters of Family Law. You will appreciate the human elements of dealing with him in your legal matters, you can't ask for a more personable and friendly lawyer who is also intelligent and knows his business, always keeping it professional and above board. A lawyer with ethics, if that is your thing.

I went through an ugly divorce because my wife wanted an unreasonable settlement (it was my first and only divorce). In fact, her demands were so unreasonable that she fired her first divorce attorney who was trying to arrive at a halfway equitable agreement. Fortunately, Steve Reinheimer was my divorce attorney and he provided me with not only incredible emotional support (which I needed) during the traumatic months of divorce proceedings but also, importantly, he was able to negotiate a divorce settlement that was fair and equitable for me. He was honest and up-front about his fees (which were reasonable). Throughout the proceedings he was always calm, reassuring, and professional. He brilliantly represented me. I recommend Steve without reservation.

I do not live in Michigan and needed an attorney to help with my divorce. Steven was recommended to me and he went above and beyond by working with my ex husband to get the correct paperwork agreed on, signed and recorded, also attempted to work with the court clerk. I was buying a house in my new state and he also worked with my realtor and mortgage person to get them the paperwork they needed as quickly as possible. Steven also kept me up to date on what was happening. I am very satisfied with professiona list and highly recommend him

Hired Steven in January of 2005 for a divorce that started out of state (Wisconsin) but was transferred to Michigan. To make matters even more complex the case was then transferred to another county 70 miles away. Steven always worked in the best interest of the children, at times reminding me to get beyond my selfish anger and frustration, and by September of 2005 a fair and equitable Judgement of Divorce was entered granting joint legal and physical custody and 50/50 parenting time. But that turned out to be just the beginning. Over the past 11 years Steven has defended 13 motions for custody, 4 Friend of the court investigations, 2 child custody hearings, and multiple baseless accusations that never made it into a courtroom. All initiated by the other side. In each new court action, Steven had to travel up to my area and deal with a new attorney; I believe there were 6 or 7 in all. Each time Steven would work diligently to try to find an amicable solution, and every time he was successful. The end result was that Steven was able to do exactly what he promised in the beginning. To ensure that the children's best interests remain the priority. I have had sole legal and physical custody of the children since 2009. I sometimes look back and wonder why Steven would have ever kept me on as a client given all the effort he had to put into the case. Each day I thank the Lord for having Steven on my side through all of this and I know that I am a better person for knowing him. I would absolutely recommend Steven to anyone looking for to find a truly exceptional, compassionate, and dedicated attorney with a proven track record for doing the right thing for the right reasons.

Divorce is never easy, but mine was both emotionally taxing and financially bankrupting. It is hard to sort out if it might have been far worse had I gone with a different attorney. Mr. Reinheimer mitigated a lot of very acrimonious situations fueled by an opposing party who was hell-bent on punishing me for daring to want to stop being married to him. Communication between Mr. Reinheimer and opposing counsel was minimal in the early months of proceedings, which delayed any sort of negotiation and pushed us into both mediation and arbitration. Again it is hard to sort out whether this could have been done differently, as it could very well have been driven by opposing counsel dragging the process out as long as possible. In the end, I felt my case was prioritized, and as problems arose, they were addressed in a timely manner. A 14-month divorce process proved excessively expensive, but again, I don't see how it might have been done any differently, given a lack of control of the process on Mr. Reinheimer's end.
