Talia is everything I could have hoped for in an attorney to help fix my last attorneys screw up. She has done hundreds of adoption cases including interstate. Our last attorney did not know ANYTHING on how to file for our petition which left us in a huge bind and law breaking situation. I called up Talia and she immediately began working diligently to rectify the situation and walking us through what to do. Being that this is such an emotional journey to begin with, it helps having someone who cares, is knowledgeable, and understands first hand what we were going through. I recently had a hearing at Oakland County Friend of the Court with Talia as my council. I admired Talia's attempt to broker an out of court settlement with my very difficult Ex. When that did not succeed we went in front of the Referee and Talia went into full on Lawyer Mode. Talia had a firm grasp of the weaknesses in our petition, and she requested a modification that she sensed was attainable as the hearing unfolded. Thankfully her instincts proved accurate and our motion was granted! The other thing I really liked about Talia was that she was very honest in our initial consultation meeting about what she believed was possible, and what she thought was impossible. Consequently I had very realistic expectations about potential outcomes when we headed to court.
