Worked with Ellis Porter on my EB2NIW application. It got accepted recently, which is great! An amazing law firm, very professional and efficient. I was working with Jillian Marchi and she did an amazing job with my case. At the beginning, the team has provided me with great instructions and examples to help with writing personal/professional statements. They have quickly prepared the rest of the case. Notably, my case, primarily based on my academic work, was prepared without the reference letters that are often said to be necessary for EB2NIW. This has a tremendous positive effect on the amount of time necessary to build the case. In addition, this made the cost of case handling to go down. Jonathan Goslow contacted me in Feb 2020, I signed an agreement with the Firm in Apr 2020, we started working with Allyn at that time, we filed the application in Jun 2020, and I received my green card in Jun 2022. Allyn Sinicropi composed and submitted a complete and strong EB2 NIW application fairly quickly without delays on the Firm's side. We did not receive any request for evidence from USCIS as they were processing the application. Allyn and Jonathan answered all of my questions during the application prep and the review promptly and completely. On 11 Aug 2021, Allyn's assistant, Caitlyn Buchanan (Paralegal), posted a document that stated the following: Dear JONATHAN DAVID GOSLOW, You are registered as the attorney of record in the immigrant visa case of IGOR FEDIN. As such, you are responsible to coordinate payment of the immigrant visa processing fee(s) ($345.00) for each applicant indicated on the enclosed fee bill invoice(s), which is now due and payable, and must be paid before petition processing can continue. An invoice for each eligible applicant is enclosed. Caitlyn did not bother to annotate the document with at least one sentence, so I went ahead and paid the $345. It turned out that there was no need to pay this $345 unless I was applying outside the US. I was unable to get a refund from either NVC or my bank.

Initially, I approached Ellis Porter and a different attorney located in Ann Arbor for my EB1A I-140 petition. Ellis Porter was confident in my case and offered me a full refund in case of denial for my EB1 petition, whereas the other attorney wasn't confident. Before signing the retainer, Jonathan Goslow from Ellis Porter was generous and humble in addressing all my questions and fears. He also took the time to help me deal for free of cost with all the possible nuances involved in filing a petition sponsored by the employer. After signing the retainer, I requested Andrew Ingebritson (Andy) to handle my case. Andy dealt with my case diligently and efficiently. Andy and his paralegal, Stephen Lin, were always responsive, superfast, and punctual throughout the whole process, and they knew what they were doing. All the documents were prepared by them meticulously and without any delay. In various instances, whenever I had confusion, Andy always cleared it off with elaborate, clear, and concrete information. To be honest, I never had any telephone conversation with Andy until a week before shipping my final petition package. I never had any issue with them. After submitting the petition using the premium processing option, I got an RFE from a tough USCIS officer who had issued several NOIDs and denials. Andy was very confident in my case and brushed off the RFE as a very easy thing to handle. But, I overanalyzed and overthought, and requested Andy to include unnecessary and unasked evidence to strengthen my case. Andy made lots of efforts to convince me not to include any extra evidence and assured me to take the whole responsibility if my petition gets denied. I trusted his professional advice and years of experience in dealing with my RFE. He respectfully argued using USCIS’s own clause to address the RFE, and finally, my petition got accepted. I was delighted and thrilled to hear the news ,and I plan to retain Ellis Porter for my adjustment of status. Andy is outstanding and has enormous knowledge and experience to build a strong case. He makes all the efforts to walk the extra mile to win his clients’ trust and make sure the petition is successful. Before selecting Ellis Porter, I read and heard excellent reviews about Ellis Porter across various forums and communities. Now , with my own experience, I would reiterate that fact and highly recommend them to anybody who wants a peaceful and assured process. I’m truly thankful for Chris, from the day I first talked to him up until the very end he has been nothing short of amazing.
